  Suite muy Espaciosa y Cómoda.

  Nos hospedamos aquí por una noche y el tamaño de la suite es ideal para una familia grande: cuenta con una habitación bastante grande separada del estudio con sofá cama. El precio acorde al nivel de precios que se maneja en esta área de California, elevados. Pasamos una noche de descanso de calidad. Todo muy limpio y la atención que recibimos fue muy buena. El desayuno que se ofrece incluido pudiera mejorar ya que no encontré proteína por ningún lado, sólo huevos cocidos, cereales y algo de fruta; un aspecto a mejorar. Fuera de eso, si regresaría a hospedarme en este hotel.

  Family vacation, rude clerk at front desk

  Larkspur Landing in Sunnyvale was our choice of stay twice in the past. Overall we were satisfied with the hotel's services. We made no exception this time, taking a family vacation trip from LA to San Jose in November 2019, but this time we were unpleasantly surprised by the front desk female clerk's behavior (her name was Lucie). Upon our arrival time at around 6 o'clock evening, exhausted from the long drive, but in a joyful mood, we approached the guest service desk. We received no smile, no greetings, no welcoming word from our host at all. Instead, her already icy face became more stiff, when she said in a stern manner: "You want to go and get your dog?"; our dog (which is a big plus for Larkspur Landing's allowing of pets) is a small adorable puppy, very well-behaved. While we were waiting inside the lobby, he proceeded couple of steps further, still within the lobby, to sniff the environment, as dogs typically do. "Certainly" I replied, surprised by her tone. "Your name?" she asked next, with the same stern look on her face. For one moment I wasn't sure which name to give her, because, although I made the reservation myself, the charges were put on my husband's credit card. While I hesitantly tried to explain the circumstances to her, she became more irritated and replied "Just give me a name", interrupting me in the middle of my sentence. The reservation was under my name, the clerk confirmed it, and after looking at the screen couple of seconds longer she looked up and announced: "There's no notification here about your dog". Tired of her unfriendly conduct, I said: "But it's not my fault". Her tone, with an angry expression on her face, couldn't be more offensive in responding to my remark... "Ma'am, I'm trying to help you here." Still trying to compose myself, as I was doing up to that moment, I exchanged a look with my young daughter who was standing next to me, who was as surprised by this very unpleasant conduct as I was. The next moment, when I looked again at the clerk, I noticed an effort on her part to soften her tone, and it seemed as if somebody had turned the switch on in her, and all of a sudden, almost instantly she became much nicer, chatting with us in a friendly manner, and stayed that way until the end of the check-in process, as well as the next day. We didn't see her afterward. I really wish I could've avoided the unpleasantly heavy impression, which was left on us by a rude tone and attitude coming from the clerk that evening, during the initial 10-minute conversation, and write nothing about it; but, as you see, I was unable to do so. Welcoming a guest is not only a very pleasant gesture on a human level, but it is also among a hotel clerk's duties and responsibilities in my opinion. The hotel overall was good. They can, however, consider more options for the breakfast menu.

  Loud, good luck sleeping

  I need a room for one thing and one things alone: SLEEP. The walls are paper thin. You can hear the guy above you--heck you can even hear a guy turn on his car in the parking lot. Also, beds here are not comfortable. DO NOT STAY HERE.

  good place to stay

  the front desk staff are very nice. Over all the service is very good . the rooms come with full kitchen +utensils. free breakfast every day is average. Laundry ( self service) is free. You can't beat that in silicon valley. I got a great deal through tripadvisor too.

  Amazing

  I was so happy with the service from the manager. He was quick to accommodate any needs and is super friendly. The staff is amazing. This is my new favorite hotel. Definitely will book here in the future.
