  Hermoso, Tradicional Inglés y Excelente atención!

  Espero que a los amigos viajeros, que por motivos ajenos pierden el vuelo o se lo cancelan a último momento, les sirva nuestra experiencia. Luego que Norwegian cancelará el vuelo, cerca de las 23hs. El vuelo originalmente era a las 20hs. La compañía decidió ubicarnos en un hotel por algunas horas. Los hoteles de Gatwick rápidamente se ocuparon. Nos dijeron que el único hotel estaría fuera del aeropuerto, sin aclarar que sería en Kent, a una hora quince minutos del aeropuerto. Llegar pasada la medianoche, cansado y pensando que quizás no podamos a llegar a dormir algunas horas. Al ser recibidos por el Sr. Luke. Con excelente atención, predispuesto para todo. Nos hizo muy cómodos. Luego al entrar a una habitación enorme, temperatura justa (hacía frío), con perfume en el ambiente. Todo perfectamente ordenado. Mantas y toallas de sobra. Productos de higiene de calidad. Televisión con los más variados canales. Y fáciles de sintonizar. Wifi perfecto y con velocidad más que suficiente. Ventana a la campiña. El lugar parece encantado. Las escaleras (si o si único medio para subir) perfectamente alfombradas y aseguradas. Es una construcción firme y paredes sólidas, acústica inmejorable. Por lo que se puede dormir tranquilo sin ruidos molestos. Entiendo que es un hotel boutique. Con una playa o lugar pintoresco para estacionar el vehículo. Realmente tanto nos gusto! Qué Dios mediante el próximo año, no vamos a esperar que el vuelo salga retrasado. Nos tomaremos unos días para hospedarnos allí para inspirarnos y finalizar nuestro próximo libro.   Not the best .......... but

  We were going out with friends and all decided to book a hotel nearby, we chose the Larkfield Priory. The booking process of 3 rooms was fairly straightforward. It went down hill slightly after this. I had to call the hotel to make an amendment, I spoke with the manager, who made the date change amendment for me. I did not receive confirmation. I called the hotel again and spoke with Mia, who said the date change had not been made. She did this for us and immediately sent new confirmations. When we arrived to check-in, the manager was at reception, he tried to check us in but was not having much success, he was in total state of disorder. He said that Mia would do this, as he was not familiar with the system. To be honest, he reminded me of Fawlty Towers. Mia gave us our room keys and booking receipts, then directed us to our rooms. The rooms were very clean, tidy, nice towels and bed linen with adequate facilities. Before going out for the evening we wanted to buy a drink from the lounge bar. Manager informed us there was a wedding reception in the bar but we could use the 'back room'. This room was rather grotty, there were just 3 chairs and not a table in sight. The 'bar' was laughable, a small hatch in the wall, almost every drink had to be fetched from the main bar. We ordered 6 drinks and it took approximately 15 minutes to serve these. So pleased we were going out for the evening. Breakfast was served in the 'back room'. The full English was served and cooked well and was hot. It was help yourself to tea, coffee and juice. The breakfast staff were very pleasant and friendly. I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Mia, she worked on reception, the bar area, helping and assisting guests and other staff members, plus she was there at breakfast, not once did she complain about the heavy work load, she was always smiling. A fantastic member of staff, a credit to this hotel.

  Best breakfast around by far

  We spent the night at tbis hotel due to work commitments and we only had time for breakfast in the morning and we are so glad we chose to have it! Really good breakfast and was nice and hot and delivered to our room! They gentlemen that deliverd it to our room was helpfull and friendly so thank you to him! We wish we could of tried the menu because honestly the food we had was fantastic

  Lovely meal

  Had lunch here on Tuesday. Very quiet. Newly painted restaurant, looked clean and bright. Staff were friendly and helpful. The menu had a good selection to suit all. The food was good., cooked well, hot and nicely presented.

  Horrific food

  We are stay as part of work the rooms are cheap and cheerful I have been sick at lest 5 times and sickness from the food other colleagues have been ill its horrible.whats on the menu is not what you get always things missing or over cooked the chefs trainers are dirty which he wheres which says a lot about his hygiene.the staff are clueless would not eat here at all worst place we have ever stayed for work and we have stayed in some ruff places.
