  sucio y caro!

  Hotel de ruta en una pista de esqui carisimo en relación precio-calidad...esta sucio por donde lo mires, por ejemplo los azuleos del baño llenos de hongos,, el pie de cama manchado, los pisos....esta mal mantenido: el tapizado de las sillas roto, el barniz de los muebles todo gastado...la recepción es deficiente, nos respondieron a nuestras inquietudes en un bar vecino yha que la recepcionista no lo hizo...lo q vale la pena es el desayuno muy bueno y completo!

  Hay mejores lugares para parar por aqui

  Un hotel de paso, basico, bastante sucio, la atencion deja mucho que desear tambien. El restaurant es bueno aunque caro y el desayuno muy bueno. Wifi anda bien pero no llega a las habitaciones. Nos quedo comodo pero si paso de nuevo por alli paro en otro lugar.

  Eat here - stay elsewhere

  As some other reviews have indicated, the rooms of the hotel should have been renovated 20 years ago. They are old, very old. No TV. Bathrooms dont look fresh, although I didnt find anything really disgusting. Then again, I was going on a hike the next day, so I was mentally prepared for quite basic surroundings. The restaurant was a huge positive surprise. Dinner was fantastic, and I have heard that there at least has been a chef with a background in a Michelin restaurant running the place. It shows, as the flavors and the presentation could easily compete with more upscale establishments in Helsinki. Also the breakfast was very good. So eat here - stay elsewhere.

  What a disappointment!!

  We stayed at this hotel in September 2020, in an economy room. The hotel room had never moved out of the 60s. The floor was layed badly, the furniture mostly original, with the armchairs fabric torn. Already when arriving at the wing where our room was, there was a strange smell, which only grew stronger when entering the room. It felt heavy to breath. The smell stuck to our clothes and even the clean ones had to be washed when we came home. The tiles in the bathroom were blackened and the shower head was broken. The door to the bathroom had a thick layer of dust at the hinge side. The power outlets were not up to todays standards. Very bad sound insulation, especially through the door. Clear marks of humidity damage in the cieling, a sign of a leaking roof? We payed 150/night for a room that wasnt worth even 30, no matter how sold out the weekend was. We didnt feel like using any of the hotels other services and went to dine in the neighbouring restaurant. We wont recommend this hotel to anyone, until it is torn down and rebuilt. Even a thorough renovation isnt enough anymore. Lapland Hotels usually have a good standard on their hotels. This was a huge disappointment because expectations were quite high.

  Great autumn trip in Kilpisjärvi

  We stayed in Lapland Hotel Kilpisjärvi for 2 nights in the end of September. The hotel is a bit outdated but this is compensated by the great staff. We have rarely seen such friendly hotel staff who is genuinely interested to make your stay better. Our room also had great views of Saana fell. This hotel is for people who don't want luxury but authenticity. We will visit again for sure
