Great location, perfect for shops, restaurants etc.Such a lovely welcome, room was ready, it was super clean with everything you would want for an inexpensive quiet little haven with sea views. We were made made to feel very special and we will be going back again and again. I have stayed in Hotels in Hove and Brighton before all being somewhat more expensive and on many occasions stayed awake from noise from other rooms, but not here...phew! Breakfast was lovely and served with a genuine big smile and no way made to feel naughty from coming in a little late after enjoying the local bars from night before. ;) Enjoy!

Lovely serviceHusband and I stayed here for a weekend in Oct whilst visiting some old favourites from when we lived in Brighton a few years ago. Husband had stayed here in late 2006 and had a good experience then, which was a deciding factor in booking this b&b. B&b is clean, tidy and well maintained. Rooms are average size and well priced, considering most of Brighton's hotels are often overpriced and called 'boutiques'. (You can easily spend £100-200/night for a double room)!! Owner is very polite, helpful and always has a smile. Bed is of a good quality and comfortable. B&b decor is a little dated...but everything is clean and in good repair. So although a slightly more up to date style would look nicer, I would rather pay what we did for an older style room and good service than an overpriced hotel/boutique. Hubby was a little disappointed that there was no full English/bacon for breakfast, but we certainly didn't go hungry over the weekend, so I don't think it was the end of the world. I love muesli though and there was plenty of freshly prepared fruit, juice, tea and croissants/toast etc. Internet didn't seem to work in our room but no big deal when we were only there to shower and sleep. Would happily go back.

Smashing little B no BYes, it is a B no B - not a mistake. This guest house is a Bed no breakfast, which I prefer as there are plenty of places to get a good breakfast in Brighton and Hove. The owners of the Regency Lansdowne are very nice and welcoming. The guest house is a great value for money, comfortable, clean place to stay in Brighton and close to the town. I would definitely recommend.

Little gem in hove / BrightonLovely little guest house just moments from the sea and the promenade Michael the owner greeted us upon arrival and showed us the room and little kitchen where you can prepare breakfast. The room was light and airy with a very comfortable bed and an en-suite shower and toilet . Tea and coffee is available in the room and the guest house is just steps away from western road with its plethora of places to eat from little cafes and patisseries to a wide range of international cuisine. There is a bus from the station or its just a 20 minute walk. We will definitely be back.
