    DO NOT STAY HERE - IT IS A CON

    THIS HOTEL WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF. We arrived to check in, having paid in advance and showed our booking confirmation to the receptionists.We were informed that the hotel had lost our booking due to a computer system error and we would have to pay £188 per night for a new booking. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told by the manager in front of my young children "You dont have a booking, stop wasting my time, get your **** out of here". A similar thing happened to three other customers in the half hour that we were there. Disgusting.

    Total s#%t hole

    Stayed in this godforsaken hole across 13 days, no idea why my employer chose it as there is cheaper and better all around Brighton. First room bathroom okay but filthy windows and curtains dodgy TV with no bass so sounded like a transistor radio. Second room dodgy carpet (with dodgy stains...) filthy curtains....etc. Listen, I'm not going to bother going any further room by room so to sum up- Dirty towels, damp walls and ceilings, non existent hot water, crap showers, no heating, rattling windows, dubious stains, indifferent staff (mostly) no breakfast (but you'd be scared to eat it anyway) a bar inhabited by ghosts. Oh yes, and if you get room 505 the bed is more spring than mattress. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and the cheapest ones can be sketchy but the problem is that this is not cheap for the pile of excrement that it is.

    Do not go here

    I was meant to go to with my mates back in May. We were unable to go due to being in lockdown. They refused to give us our refund back even though it was impossible to even stay there. After several emails they confirmed that they would not give us a refund suggesting that it was our problem to deal with. We had to take it further and eventually booking.com managed to get our refund back for us. It was very surprising considering the hotel said there was no way we could get our money back and somehow booking.com managed to get it back for us. This would suggest that they were only interested in taking our money, which was over £1,000. For this reason alone I would recommend anyone looking at this hotel to find a different one because you would receive much better customer service.

    Booking -Covid restrictions

    My original booking was for the first lockdown and I was advised that I could not have a refund even if it was because of COVID 19 Eventually they agreed to move the dates to December. However a further lock down was announced. The booking popped up on an email saying how to check in etc. I emailed to say that the lockdown prevented us from coming. But two weeks later they are ignoring my attempts to contact them.

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS

    this hotel is not worth any of the hassle! I made a booking for this hotel on the 14th to the 16th of Novemeber. 4 days prior we got announced we were in the second lockdown. which meant NO TRAVELLING. Now the hotel are REFUSING to refund me and speak to me! Including management! Money and time WASTED. not one member of staff is understanding or fair! They need to read up the covid 19 rules!
