  On the way to Gaomei

  My stay at Lane62 was fabulous. The staff spoke English and gladly answered my questions about how to navigate around Taichung. It's located right at Ping Ding bus station, so it's a bit further out from downtown. But that let me see more of the city. Tunghai night market is one station away, so I always stopped there for dinner on my way back.

  so far the best hostel for me in TW

  if u are looking for a non-commercial one, i would recommend you this one. staffs are nice, talkative and helpful. The bed is especially clean as i saw them clean the bed sheet by hands each morning. i was supposed to stay 2 nights at the start of my trip and i finally chose to stay the last night here too because it really gives me a feeling of a "home" in TaiChung.

  My first choice in Taichung!

  I stayed in this hostel for 3 days 2 nights and I had a very nice experience here. It is very comfortable. The staffs are really lovely and helpful for the advices of going where. We sang, ate dinner and played games together at night. In this place, you can meet people from different countries, like Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, and Taiwan. Don't wanna leave this beautiful place and this hostel must be my first choice if i visit Taichung again next time!
