  Landmark is a typical African hit or miss place.

  The staff at landmark can be very helpful at times and not so much at other times. The apartments are generally nice and clean. There are power outages from time to time, sometimes the back up generator works other times it doesn't. the internet basically doesn't work. the food is decent but nothing special. Mr. Jackson the Manager is top notch and can make anything you need happen. I would stay here again but just know what your getting after all your in Africa, you have to set your expectations at the appropriate level.

  Landmark Experience

  My stay at Landmark (as a member of a team) that visited Kigali recently was a good one. Although skeptical at first as we turned off the tarred road that leads to the place,meeting with the manager Mr. Jackson was a totally different experience. He had made provision for everyone and was willing to go an extra mile to ensure that each person was comfortable. Given, facilities are not 5 star and can be improved upon i give kudos to the staff and management for their courage,dedication to work and willingness to deliver high quality service. Miss Scovia also should be commended as a highly motivated and dedicated staff,ever cheerful even while working crazy extended hours.

  Landmark suites

  compared to the other places have stayed at in kigali, landmark suites stands out. very clean with 5 star hospitality. the rooms are spacious with good quality furniture. looking forward to visit again soon.

  Courteous staff and excellent kitchen

  The apartment is spacious but can be better arranged. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the kitchen wonderful. The location could be noisy sometimes given the elementary school nearby and the road. Double glazed windows could help when looking at future renovations.

  No respect for reservations at this hotel - avoid

  A group of colleagues and I were due to stay here from March 21-23. We were duly picked up on the evening of the 21st by the hotel's vehicle. It was just a large car, so we were four persons on the back seat. Not ideal and probably illegal! Half way through the trip to the hotel, which is far away from the airport on the other side of town, we were told that our bookings had been cancelled and we were being sent somewhere else. Moreover, we were told that this was because some of the existing guests had chosen to extend their stay. Although this has happened to me before in a cheap and nasty hotel, this has never happened in a hotel that should have good standards. I am sorry, but this is just not acceptable, regardless of whether a booking is made somewhere else. Next day we had to get through town again before getting to the meeting which was held at Landmark. Although the meeting room was good, the internet was on and off (mostly off) all day, which meant we were unable to do planned media coverage work. Very, very disappointing, and I hope that the hotel does not do the same again.
