  Great hotel in Hangzhou, quite and relaxing

  Usually stay here, as it is good for business meeting. This time, the check in process was smooth. Had dinner in the restaurant, the food and service was all perfect. Just a note that the new menu does not have English anymore... The room was good and clean, a few mosquitoes that made me worried, happened before as well, next time I bring a mosquito plug. Had an very early start, they packed a breakfast to me at 5:30, all done without any fuzz. Will stay here next time as well.

  quiet location but not quiet hotel

  We needed a quiet and peaceful place to get away from our metropolitan home in HK so we booked this hotel. The location is just lovely, with tea plantations everywhere and the air was pristine, there is just one problem, our stay at the hotel was anything but peaceful. First the hotel room was nice, bed was comfortable and front desk staff was helpful. Mr. Hu, a intern at the hotel was keen to accommodate our needs and even helping us with carrying luggages to our room. Room size was average for the area, we had a partial tree/ parking lot view. Bed linen was clean and crisp and bed was comfortable. Bathroom shower area was dated, toilet in separate space which made it easier for traveling with companions. Breakfast was quite ok for RMB80/person. Both Asian and western choices were available and food quite tasty. The biggest drawback was the noise we encountered; the room ventilation was not adequate so we opted to open the windows which could have been nice with fresh air except our next door neighbour talked loudly and they smoked in the balcony. We could hear everything they said. They did lower down their voices after several complaints. The next morning was worse, there was a party chartered near the parking lot and we heard loud noise from 9am onward, we complained but nothing was done. The people was talking and eating loudly, early morning for heaven sake!! Our stay would have been nice if the hotel was more sensitive to the need of their guests wanting a quiet stay; after all there were so many other choices in the price range if it was not for the purpose. The true value of staying in this hotel diminishes as it is in a remote area of Hangzhou if guest can not enjoy a peaceful and quite stay. We expressed our concern and the management was apologetic. I sincerely hope they improve as this could have been a nice place to stay in the lovely Longjing Tea plantations area.

  An oasis of tranquility....

  Surprised to find such a lovely hotel among the tea gardens in Hangzhou in Longjing area. It's a very tasteful hotel and it has an exquisite Chinese restaurant. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. A very good to come home to after a tiring day out at West Lake. Highly recommended!

  Great boutique hotel in the tea village

  A great hotel for business or pleasure. Located in the Longjing tea village slightly outside of the city center, it is a place of tranquility and peace. Quiet area. Walking around the tea plantations all around is enjoyable. The staff tries hard to please and help. Truly an underrated gem in the heart of Chins tea hills and valleys. Highly recommend folks not overlook this hotel while in Hangzhou.

  Beautiful serene place for tea

  Drive there as there is construction along the road leading up to the resort. Can get muddy. Nice ambience with tea plantation next to it. Excellent hospitality. We tried different varieties like Long Jing as well as Wulong
