  Me alojé un fin de semana en Noviembre. El hotel es muy bonito y acojedor. Cada habitación tiene un estilo. Está a 1,5 km del pueblo, pero los taxis son baratos 7 . Yo fui paseando por la carretera. El entorno es precioso. La dueña, Renata, te ofrece a la llegada algo para beber. Son muy, muy hospitalarios. A mi me llevaron a la estacion de tren y se pfrecieron a hacerlo en la estacion de otro pueblo para que mi viaje durase menos. Incluso me dieron de forma gratuita un picnic para el viaje.A una amiga, como los domingos el transporte publico es escaso, la llevaron al aeropuerto cercano. El trato es exquisito. El desayuno completo. Al ser invierno el restaurante estaba cerrado. Muy bien en general.

  Wonderful Austrian Hospitality

  We originally booked to stay just one night here on our annual motorcycle trip, however we ended up staying an additional night as one of our party was not fit enough to move on the following day due to heat exhaustion. Frau Renate Nudelbacher is an amazing host and she went above and beyond the call of duty. She was extremely concerned for the wellbeing of my husband and rustled up a noodle soup to aid his recovery.. The hotel is situated at the top of of short, but steep, driveway and enjoys nice views of the surrounding hills. The staff are very friendly and attentive and speak very good English. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, spacious and well appointed. The food is exceptional and Sunday evenings it is cooked on a barbecue. Thank you very much for your help and assistance Frau Renate, we look forward to staying with you again.

  2nd stay here, even better then the first.

  Our second stay here and it certainly didn't disappoint. We arrived on 4 motorcycles and there is plenty of free parking available. The owner and staff are absolutely lovely and speak very good English. The rooms are very large, very clean and very well appointed. There is a lovely garden with a swimming pool where guests can relax. We are already planning next years trip and we will stay here again.

  Beautiful vacation

  The hotel is located in a small village - Feldkirchen. It is like a large family house, so any room you take will be a treat. The surrounding area is a typical Austrian mountain-ish landscape. Green, beautiful and quiet. 1) Transportation - there are buses that go around the village and the area, but we came with a personal automobile. The reception parking is right in front of the hotel terrace and since the hotel is on a somewhat higher ground, the small steep road which is sheltered by pines, leads to it. It is approximate equivalent of second floor. At the base of the hill, there is a bigger parking lot, belonging to a hotel, and that one was NEVER filled. I estimated it is a few places bigger than the maximum possible number of guests. We used that bigger one because it was comfortable and without that steep approach (just drive away) and went for the reception parking only during checking in and checking out (because of the luggage). Bottom line, parking is quite neat and there is absolutely no worries about it (and, it is free for the guests). 2) Terrace and the reception area - the terrace dubbed as the restaurant terrace and we very much enjoyed our evening drinks and morning breakfasts there. Since the hotel is a family retreat mostly, the guests were polite and we quite liked greeting people we never met before, during breakfast or evening. Reception was quite simple and straightforward. If there was nobody there, we never had to wait more than 30 seconds. Candies are a treat. ;) 3) Pets - we ourselves do not have a pet, but the hotel is pet friendly and there were quite a few of dogs, but not one single issue with them (barking, poo-ing, pee-ing....). They were well tended by their owners and have we not seen them, we wouldn't even know that they were in the hotel. And I mean I have not seen ANY "traces" of any pets in, or around, the hotel. Ever. Period. It is that clean. 4) The rooms - since hotel has few wings, we got a room in one overlooking the parking lot and the gardens behind the hotel (where the swimming pool is). The view to the alpine hills is - almost spectacular. The rooms themselves are named, and in a funny fashion (Empress Sissy Quarter...etc.). We liked that. Our was "Madame Butterfly's Suite". The room was quite spacious and we were quite surprised. It had a master bedroom, small living room next to it, then small sleeping area consisting of two sleeping quarters, both with it's own sleeping bed with quite a spacious bathroom which we liked very much. It would accommodate a family with two children just right. The bathroom had a bathtub and a shower. Bidet was there which is something you don't see much often, even in the Top-Class hotels. Both of the quarter parts had their own door to the balcony (and separate TV sets, wardrobes and cupboards). Considering that, the room would have been able to accommodate two couples as well (as long as they don't mind sharing the toilet, that is). 5) Internet - not a problem. There is really decent signal almost everywhere around the hotel. It is not superfast, but it is of very good speed and reliability. 6) Swimming pool - very nice, big, outdoors swimming pool is located in the back gardens (semiolimpic size, some 30-ish meters). We enjoyed it very, very much. One day it was a bit cold-ish, but the next two days it was much better (still a bit fresh, but just the right way). It is cleaned daily (perhaps even more often). It is allowed to bring coffee or juice to the swimming pool, so we enjoyed our afternoon coffee breaks there. Walking around the grass barefoot was a real treat (as everything is maintained in top-notch manner). 7) Cuisine - very tasty. We were there only for breakfasts and eventual evening drinks, but what we have tasted was - superb. Once a week there is a barbecue-for-all evening and that looked like a little event. Although we did not stay for the evening that day, what we have seen was - quite exquisite. 8) Cleanliness - one word - superb. And I mean - everything was clean. From the carpets in the halls to the toilet and room, which was tended to everyday. Crisp clean sheets, windows which look like they have no glass on them, glasses...everything. It was like staying in a Austrian family house that you have just bought. We enjoyed our stay very much and would really recommend this hotel to anybody (with decent manners). Since I had the opportunity to have a small correspondence with the owner afterwards, I have to congratulate them and their staff for maintaining such a beautiful retreat. Note: At the exit from the village, there is a fuel station "MO Moser". It has good quality fuel with prices somewhat lower than in the Germany. We used to fill our automobile there and were quite satisfied.

  Extremely helpful and Considerate Staff

  The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful, considerate and friendly! Also very responsive to email requests for info prior to visiting. I would highly recommend visiting this hotel if you are considering one in the area!
