I would book it againNature around is awesome and the staff at the reception was very friendly, professional and helpful. A special request because of having guests for breakfast was at a first a tiny little bit difficult (we've been asked to sort this out in the morning but in the morning it was getting difficult because of the short notice) but satisfying resolved by very professional (and a bit stressed) staff. It is a really quite location and as soon we've figured out where the additional car parks are located (what wasn't easy at a first) we had as well no issues with only very few spaces in front of the hotel. The room was clean, neat and tidy and so was the bathroom (even though it was a bit tiny for the equipment of a couple). The balconies are looking forward to some weeding (the reason for my "average" re the cleanliness) and some of the corridors were not that good lighted. We've been almost scared to sit in the bigger breakfast room which had the flair of a factory canteen but we were lucky to be in the nice and pretty room. Breakfast was reduced to two hours only what means they were ongoing running out of some food (bread rolls, marmalade, eggs...) and because of only a few service staff members it took sometimes a while before they filled up the buffet. This hotel is obviously totally booked out for about 9 months (what is a good sign) what means the restaurant is crowded for breakfast (which was a very good one). We missed highly WLAN especially because the mobile network reception is almost not existing. Planing hikes on the mobile was getting difficult on this way.

OK but nothing specialIt was OK. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were big and spacious but a little bit dark. Internet was working and the breakfast was OK. The location is quiet, not close to the city center. I didn't use the pool or any other facility because we were working and we just came to the hotel to sleep..

Decent place to stayThis hotel was very basic but sufficient. The room was sparse but clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Tasted sauerkraut juice for the very first time at the breakfast!!! It was a very good rate.

avoid this hotelWe went on a national holidays trip to the German Grand Prix and stayed in this hotel. We arrived on the hottest day of the year. The reception had closed down and we were all put oin the third floor. The heat was unbearable i measured the temperature in our room at just on 40degs. There were no fans and some people slept out in the corridor on the floor. Having said that the room was clean and tidy. The food was extremely poor especially on the last night when the only thing edible was the mashed potato. I only ever saw three staff one young girl and two young bar men. The girl was the only one with a grasp of English and she was from Lithuania. She was very helpfull. They evenf had the cheek to put a tips box on the reception desk as we left. My tp would be to shut it down and start again.

Most uncomfortable night ever!We stayed 3 nights on a Dinner/Bed & Breakfast basis, as members of a coach party visiting the German Grand Prix in Hockenheim. There was a heatwave at the time, with temperatures over 40 degrees & it didn't cool at all during the night. We were shocked & dismayed that the hotel had no air conditioning.I asked if I could borrow a fan but was told they didn't have any. None of us slept at all, in fact some of our group took their bedding into the corridors & tried in vain to get some sleep. The hotel reception closed from 4pm to 8am so there was never anyone around to sort out problems. Most of the staff couldn't speak English apart from a young waitress from Lithuania who was very helpful & a waiter in the bar during the evening who had a good command of English. The rooms were cleaned daily & were fine apart from the intense heat, but the patio was overgrown with weeds & lacked a table to go with the chairs. However the worst thing about this hotel was the food - all self-service with a poor choice of dishes. It was like a works canteen with plastic table covers. The last evening was the worst as we were later getting back form the Grand Prix & there was nothing much left. I ended up with mashed potato & gravy!
