  Nice and friendly hotel with a damned big heart for motorbikers

  Landhotel Postgut is situated just at the Obertauern "Landstrasse" which offers a nice and curved road over the Obertauern Pas. The Hotel has a very friendly host Family Klary - three generations, with the "old patron" controlling the kitchen activities and securing the optimal results according to what is served at the dining table - just the best. In between he is enjoying his pipe(outside, but smelling good, even for me as a non-smoker). The next generation is running the hotel as a whole and has a big Heart for motorbikers - I have been visiting the hotel three times the last four years as biker and have every time got the possibility to store my bike "inndoor". The rooms are just fine - very fine, clean and modern even giving me, as guest, the real feeling of being in the Austrian village. The prices reasonable. Landhotel Postgut is attractive also to horse riders.

  Perfect ski holiday at very good price

  Is the second time here. The hotel is clean, personnel polite, proactive waiters, abundant breakfast with very good free Illy espresso coffee (very important for us). Every evening the dinner was very good and with fish alternative at the main course. The good wines are around 25 euro per bottle, so, very affordable. The room was more than enough for us and our two daughters equipped with many amenities, free bathrobes, towels, international tv channels ... Hotel is also equipped with clean sauna and a relaxing area. Parking is free and always available. And finally, the price was excellent compared with the hotels in Obertauern and at 7 minutes with car from the P7 ski start. I highly recommend it for families focused on skiing and calm evenings...   Lunch only

  four of us were passing through Tweng and decided to stop of a quick lunch. All of the staff were most friendly and the food was of an excellent standard. If you're in the area, give it a try, you won't be disappointed

  Quiet and relaxing place

  We appreciated cleanliness, helpful staff, enjoyable dinners, good sauna, parking 20 m far from the main entrance on the opposite side of the road, skibus 150 m far from the hotel. Good location, possibility for last minute morning decisions about going to Obertauern or Grosseck-Speiereck by bus or to Fanninberg or Katchberg by car. I would welcome more vegetables at the breakfast.

  Hollyday week in Tweng

  We have appreciated everything. A clean Hotel, helpful staff speaking English or able to understand my bad german, enjoyable dinners, good sauna or "Dampfbad", parking near from the main entrance and the facility at the back side to not carry the luggages from the parking on the opposite side of the road.Good location, calm and relax during all the week. We spent a very good vacation week.
