  Good place to stay for a short break

  We were here for a second time, but this time I was less impressed with this hotel. The rooms are clean and they have a nice sauna area in the basement you can use for free. Due to issues with the satelite we didn't have tv for most of the week, a pity when you want to relax and watch a movie after a whole day of sight seeing. The breakfast buffet was OK, but there wasn't that much choice and the soft boiled eggs were cold. All in all, it's a good place to stay for a short visit but not if you're staying longer.

  Not worthwhile coming back for

  The best quality of this Hotel is it its great tranquil location on the lake. The Hotel and rooms are very much outdated and offer not much charm. Starting with a bathroom which is very much of the past to a room which even though is spacious has seen better days. Unfortunately cleanliness is also not what it should be and is complemented with a very patchy service. Altogether just about ok but certainly not worthwhile coming back for.

  Best restaurant location south of Munich, great quality food, excellent service, fair price, best fish soup in Europe, nice hotel rooms, best kitchen in bavaria, beautiful located at lake Starnberg, family business since generations, extremely helpful and flexible service

  Beautiful place on Summer

  The place is very beautiful but on winter everything are covered with snow. The installations are correct. You can run or walk near the lake its very relaxing and peaceful. The waitress speaks english very well.

  Warm Welcome in Bavarian Winter

  A friend and I spent a very pleasant long weekend (3 nights) at the Landhotel Huber at the end of January. Nicole at Reception ... with her gorgeous collie dog Milo ... both extended a very warm welcome. The bedrooms were toasty warm; the snow-covered countryside was perfect for long walks; and we loved the calmness and beauty of the winter season ... with the lake in the foreground and the Alps in the distance. The style of the hotel added to the nice feeling of being in a small local property in Bavaria and not in just another global hotel with standardized decor and devoid of local flavor.
