Great place for a great holiday! After driving thousands kilometres from London, this place definitely deserves the long journey. We stayed on the top floor in a room with the oldest ceiling of the house over 200 years old. Nicely decorated and with all comfort needed for a holiday. The view of Falkenstein Mountain from the balcony was splendid. English is not widely spoken in this part of Germany (and it is not necessary). It looked we were the only English tourists with British registered car and we looked like an attraction for the locals. There were some Austrians but Austria is just a few miles away (Salzburg is a half an hour drive). As we dont speak German, we were grateful to the hosts, Yoshi and Karoline, who speak English and made the place more welcoming for us. They also provided us with some local maps which was also helpful. The breakfast was very good boiled eggs, ham, bread, jam, cheese, butter, fruits, coffee, tea and they were all of great quality. However, as we stayed for 7 nights, it would be good if there was a little bit more choice. There were scrambled eggs and salmon on offer but only on Sunday. We also enjoyed a dinner here in Japanese style but also had great meals in some restaurants in Inzell, where, fortunately for us, there was menu in English and some waiters spoke English. Inzell itself looks like a little paradise, as is the whole Bavaria charming houses, alpine air and tidy people. It looked like we were living in a dream. The location of the house is very good with options for visiting many attractions without going very far. We had a lovely walk through Falkenstein Mountan thanks to Yoshi, who recommended it. Beautiful lakes, crystal clear rivers and no rubbish at all! How could Germans and especially Bavarians keep the place so clean? The nearby Berchtesgaden has so much to offer such as the Salt mines, Eagle nest, Obersalzberg Documentation Centre and the Bunker as well as the Lake Konigssee.

Nice place, good serviceWe stayed 3 nights enjoying a nice place, warm atmosphere and the best breakfast along the trip. However the room had some deficiencies, especially the lack of sink in the bathroom. WIFI connection in the room was not stable

Outstanding Family Run HotelWe stayed here for two fantastic nights in a safari themed room that was very spacious. The hotel has a fantastic restaurant with excellent service and amazing food. Run by a couple who provided us with probably the best service we had during our 10 day Germany/Austria trip. The focus clearly is to provide the very best and they did not miss the mark. The booking comes with the local area 'Inzell Card' that provides free entry into many local attractions, you can not go wrong for both quality and local experiences by staying here.

2 days in paradiseOne of the best hotels in Europe I visited in the last few years .In this place which is a must for all nature lovers you will be really amazed . The owners who are an excellent couple are very hospitable ,the views are scenic. You will enjoy the sound of silence .Rooms are spacious and well arranged .Breakfast is excellent and you must try their dinner. I remember when I was going to dinner that I forgot my reading glasses and I was surprised that the owner of the hotel is giving me a box of reading glasses to choose the suitable one for me .Owners are fantastic and it is a lovely place which must be visited

Not so bad but I saw far better guest-houses in BavariaStaid here with my wife and with friends in the middle of August 2015. The hotel was chosen because it got good reviews either on booking.com and tripadvisor web pages. The house itself looks nice, as a traditional Bavarian guest-house, located a little bit aside of the center of Inzell. General environment is ok, Edeka supermarket is nearby, all directions are easily accessible. Parking is free of charge and it is easily enough space for 10+ cars. The room was big but a little bit chaotically organized and not perfectly clean, I would estimate the housekeeper could be more accurate and attentive. The bathroom is ok even if a bit too dark. Wi-fi connection in the room was not always stable, at the breakfast room was better. The breakfast itself could be considered as a minor point of the hotels because the choices were too low, I have a lot of experience with Bavarian guest-houses and could consider this breakfast on the lower level comparing to others, just to give you impression imagine the average 2-3 star hotel breakfast and you will understand what I am talking about. If you have ever been to small family-run hotels in Germany you will understand what I am talking about. Behind the hotel you could find small playground for children. The owner was enough friendly (but not really wholeheartedly welcoming as it happens sometimes is such kind of guest houses when you start to feel yourself at home) but anyway he gave good ideas of what to do and to see nearby. Sazburg is very close and easily accessible by car (something like 30 min.). Konigssee is not so far also.
