  Really good food and service. Room a bit boring and noisy.

  We managed to get a table in the restaurant- but you better book in advance. Food and service was perfect. Great outdoor seating and lounge area. The room we had facing the road was a bit dull and also you will need to keep window closed for traffic noise. Not sure why they charge 5eur for parking in a none fenced area close to the main road when you actually stay at the hotel. Feels a bit cheap and if they really need the 5eur they should just add it to the general price. The place - apart from the restaurant- is not very cosy

  Good food. Fair rooms

  The hotel looks like a 4 stars one, but there are definitely things to be improved. They are clean, but it feels like the hotel need a refreshment. On the other hand, the restaurant is nice, especially for dinner. Good food, not very cheap.

  "OK" place to stay but did not make 4 points to me

  The hotel is located somewhere in outside Ulm in the middle of nowhere in good proximity to the highway - so it can be used as Motel sort of when passing by. The rooms are clean and spacious and functional, the bathrooms are as well are clean but are a time-travel back to the 70ties - nowadays you would say retro-style. Clean but outdated. I had a room on the second-floor with a roof-windows with blinds that does not darken, so that you will wake with sunrise. The restaurant serves good local and tasty food but prices are above average for what you get. Service is friendly but you might have to wait a bit. Breakfast is OK, yet choices on cheese and cold-cuts not plenty. Service struggled to keep the buffet replenished and also took a while to serve coffee. You can see that the hotel is really trying to improve and develop like electric car charging station or a "surf and turf"-dish on the menu - even though the later is also a bit worn out. Why only 3-points? Restaurant is a bit pricey, service in general mediocre And then there a the small things like the big sign entering breakfast-room that you are not allowed to make a sandwich for the go but they happily to a lunch bag for extra charge. Parking in front of the hotel costs 5 extra - no big deal. But if i would run the hotel, I would add 1-2 on every room and offer free parking as parking space is not scarce. I just felt the local/"Swabian" heritage who are (in)famous for their obsessive canniness and pedantic. Would I come again? Yes for a night, if I happen to pass by again. Overall all it for the rooms is a good value for money.

  More than excellent!

  This family owned hotel is a 0-energy-consuming building. That is just one of the consequences of his most engaged owner. He treats his guests with even more care than his building. He drove us spontaneously to the train station after our taxi would not appear, making it possible for us to take our train in the very last minute. TAUSEND DANK!

  Peaceful place

  Clean rooms, but noisy due to heating system. Dinner is not so, but breakfast is excellent. Good services. Nice view from window, near to beautiful Ulm. Children room is very good for families, but game rooms need for special permissions.
