  Excellent laid back place.

  If you need a small, nice clean, very comfortable place to stay that is centrally located between Munich/Garmisch and Berchtesgaden, this is the place to stay. We loved the place and felt quite comfortable there. Do not miss their wonderful breakfast.

  Exceptionally Good

  My wife and I stayed overnight whilst traveling back to the UK. Langasthof Karner is ideally situated just off the Autobahn & tucked away in the delightful village of Frasdorf. Beautiful 15th Century building that has had significant capital expenditure on its infrastructure that provides the old world charm with first class facilities. The staff were helpful and friendly, albeit, extremely busy during the evening dinner service, to the extent this part was our only negative. Too many customers keen to have a wonderful Bavarian dinner in their restaurant, but too few staff to adequately serve them (pro-actively) which was a great shame. Our dinner was first class with near Michelin quality presentation and content - hence my frustration with the staffing issue. Nevertheless, exceptional value for any traveller either going North or South. Fully recommend...

  Good stay in a comfortable country-style hotel

  Very interesting design of the hotel in a country style. Good swimming pool and spa area. Good breakfast with everything you need. Free bottle of home-made limonade which is refreshed every morning. Very clean facility. Sauna and spa area separated on another floor from the swimming pool. Sauna is not that big, but ok. Not enough towels at the swimming pool. Pure signation/information to get to the pool. Overpriced food in the restaurant. Some problems with parking slots: they arein different places: at the hotel, near the hotel, around the hotel - so you have to find out which one to use or where to park, if everything is occupied.

  You wouldn't leave this place

  Comfort on the rooms and high quality restaurant make this spot a place to stay and forget about any other travel day. I'l definitely come back and try to forget about time for some days. The Restaurant puts a focus on local dishes but with utmost care on preparation and fresh ingredients.

  Our stop on the way toAustria

  The hotels very close to the A8 just east of Rosenheim. However, no noise of traffic can be heard in the hotel. Its an authentic very old building. The rooms are very convenient. The pool and sauna are very fine and it gives you the right relaxation after a long day of driving. The restaurant offers not such a wide choice but what is on the menu is very tasty and of good quality. The service both at the reception and in the deining room is friendly and courteous. The wines and beers are very tasty. The breakfast offers a wide choice of fresh and tasty products.
