  Typical Tyrollian hotel and cuisine with exceptional friendly service

  A perfect base for a walking holiday. The local scenery is amazing. The hotel is a family concern and very comfortable and all the staff are extremely helpful. We felt part of the family. Would love to return as so much more to explore.

  Good food, good price

  Good food, not special, but good taste. With the Wildschönau summercard we had a very good price, but you can't eat a-la-carte when you use the summercard. It's the menu of the day. Friendly service. We paid 70 euro for a family of 5. If it was possible on TripAdvisor I would give 3.5

  Lovely looking traditional hotel

  Lovely looking traditional hotel, just what I hoped it would be. Large rooms with great views. The dining room and bar area was ok, but a bit soul less, although there was a new bar area opening in the hotel on the last day we were there which might help. The food wasnt good, with little or no choice and the xmas day meal was dreadful! Turkey legs or wings only. No white/breast meat at all. Would I go again? No, I would hope to find a hotel that actually wanted me there - coach party or not !

  Christmas Package

  This hotel is still the same friendly place remembered from our first visit. The rooms are warm and comfortable and the staff helpful, joining in with conversations quite readily. The hotel looks good from the outside but is unfortunately at least 20 mins walk uphill to the centre of Oberau. One aspect has not changed, though. The food served tended to be cool to cold. The Christmas Day buffet was much warmer but the food could have been better.

  Short stay in Wildschoenau

  Good old fashioned hospitality, great value and friendly staff. Local "Visitor Card" added value, with free gondola rides and lovely swimming pool set in beautiful surroundings. (Longest lift in Austria)
