  Beautiful Resort

  Nice place but little away from the buzz of Chewang Beach, Has a beautiful and peaceful beach closeby. Nice for people who want to relax on the isolated beach. Positives * Clean Rooms * Peaceful surroundings and view * Microwave and Fridge Drawbacks * Bathrooms are a bit wierd and the flooring is funny. The entire place including the comod gets wet after a bath. * Little far from the party places like Green Mango etc

  Good for the price but could ne better

  This residence is well located at Lamai in an quiet area. Owners are very nice and always available to help you. For the price it could be ok but you have to know some things to be improved: - there is no hot water for shower but weather is so hot that it is not so much an issue, - we had some ants in the appartment, - be carefull because transfert from the port/airport to the residence is not free and you have to pay around 500 baths, it is cheaper to book transfert with the boat company, - owner are not well organized at all, they miss us for the transfert from the boat, - smal swimming pool not to swim only to refresh, - there is dust on fans. To concluded, for the price it is a good location, but i could pay more if there would not be above issues.

  Very Clean, great service, good location

  My stay @ lamai Residence was a nice experience,very clean,rooms mopped every day, clean towels,lots of hot water for showers,flat screen TV,great Beds,good security(pass key needed) good restaurants near by on main street,walking distance to everything,Good Value for your Buck.

  Reasonable accommodation apart from the many ants and other insects sharing with you. Mattresses are old, hard and uncomfortable. Lift mattress and sofa before accepting. Could be excellent if these issues were resolved.

  Disgusting Experience, cockroaches and more.

  I don't write reviews however I do use Trip Advisor to help me when on Holidays so I thought it important to share my experience. I stayed for one night in April 2015. I stayed in a smaller 'Deluxe' room. Upon entering reception it smelt like cigarettes and no one was there. I waited and eventually was greeted. I was shown my room and it looked alright at first so I decided to stay one night. Once I made payment I was taken back to the room where they were hurriedly trying to clean it. The floor was still wet and slippery and my thongs made the floor dirty as a result. I had to dry the floor with a towel provided. Once alone I turned on the air conditioner and I heard a grinding noise in the unit before I looked up to see it spit out a cockroach. I used tissue to pick it up and put it in the toilet and then I went to wash my hands. The sink plug was depressed with water and numerous long black hairs still in the sink. It gets better. I went to lay down on the bed and observed the bedding to have stains as well as the dress pillows to have mouldy stains also. Later in the day I went to have a shower and was accompanied by a poisonous centipede in the shower which lacked hot water. I was again joined in the bathroom later on by yet another cockroach. I checked out happily the next day and found a much better place. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone other then it's in an alright location. Crap. Oh and the wifi was POOR.
