  Not Impressed

  We were treated poorly, abused by the female owner for not following instructions as to where to go to book in, offered no excuse but to be told by her husband that she had a reason to be upset. Generally felt unwelcomed and as though we were intruding on their time. We left and did not stay there. I would never recommend this accommodation.

  Fabulous

  Stayed here for 2 nights recently as a little getaway not too far from home. Room was spacious and very clean. Room had everything we needed - clean and comfortable bed, TV, free wifi, big clean bathroom. Very quiet location with free parking onsite. Very impressed and would definitely stay here again.

  Relaxing location for a night or two

  We spent a couple of nights here to rest after travelling in Western Australi by car. We had the two lake view rooms, East and West Lodges which were adjacent and very comfortable and spacious with terraces and outdoor seating and large bathrooms with separate toilets. The owners although pleasant do not really interact with guests unless something is required although it is possible to book breakfast with one other suite . Self catering is a little difficult as only a kettle and toaster are supplied with crockery and cutlery and there is no barbecue immediately to hand. It is essential to have a car here as there is nothing else nearby and the nearest restaurants at least 10 mins drive away. The dam at Mundaring is worth visiting and the property is only about 20 mins from the airport without having to go into Perth proper.

  A PLACE TO REST

  the lodge was a place to go for peace , the owners are so freindly could not do enough for us our stay was worth more than three nights , if you need a break go and enjoy , rooms are clean nothing is missed room serviced daily , we left with home made jams and a potted fig tree , exelent.

  Doubtful Star Ratings

  Looking very tired, owner abrupt and unfriendly, could do with some customer service training - partner ignored at greeting, very little lakeside views as advertised. Booked on star rating and photos for a birthday, extremely disappointed. After reviewing the accommodation and lack of views, decided to leave and spoke with owner explaining reasons why. Two days later owner deduct full rate from my son's credit card who booked online in good faith as a birthday present.
