  Talk about convenience!

  First time staying here. The front desk staff were very accommodating and were very informative. The room was very comfy and well maintained. No worries at all. Convenience to the next level everything you need is very close, even in walking distance, I needed a bathing suit to sit in the hot tub and Wal Mart was right there. I ate at Mr. Mikes which was basically in the parking lot. I had a wonderful stay, will definitely be returning.

  First time staying here

  Friendly, helpful staff. They have a senior discount but the promo rate was better. Rooms are clean, smell fresh. Internet spotty (worked better on android phone vs iPhone). TV OK, small range of channels but they offer free movies at front desk. Bathroom: shower is good; guys, watch out for high level cold water during courtesy flush. Breakfast has usual fare: bagels, breads, muffins, cereal, bacon, eggs, yogurt, assortment of beverages. Enjoyed our stay. Will search out other Lakeview hotels in our travels!

  Warning, warning Will Robertson!!!!!

  Stopped into Slave Lake area for business and decided to try out the Lakeview Inn. This is what I experienced. Checking was great, host was polite, rooms reasonably priced. Got to my room and TV did not work, had to call front desk to get it straightened out. Pillows are all round chunks of foam, no variety in size or thickness. When every light in the room was turned on it still seemed dark and dingey. Room was tidy and not too bad for cleanliness. Went out to free breakfast. no coffee, no bacon, very limited selection of food. Overall I would say I will not stay here again. I stay in a lot of hotels and this is not in my top 100. Sorry Lakeview Inn.

  Dont get here late youll never get parked

  Ive been here for a month for work and its a nice place rooms are clean staffs freindly breakfast is superb waffle make and mix there bacon and eggs or sausage and eggs every morning and all the other usuals, but my complaint is parking theres rarely a spot and when there is it takes half a hour to squeeze a company truck it if they re did the parking lot it would be a great place

  Good choice in Slave Lake

  Overall, this is a good hotel to stay at and my preference in Slave Lake.These are some of the things I noticed: Things that were average: The normal weak hot breakfast that is normal at hotels. Sausages paddy-style and hard boiled eggs on the hot section. 3 yogurt in the fridge. waffle maker. several pre-made coffee urns. instant oatmeal, plain, no oatmeal toppings. decent sitting area. Terrible decaf and no ability to use your own coffee (cuisinart package brew in the room). Can't comment on caffeinated. The tea selection is okay. Poor desk light/main area of room not lit very well other than front entrance and bathroom pillows too puffy no kettle for guests to use during stay somewhat ambivalent staff, but wherever possible my requests were met (low scent room - accomplished by getting a room that wasn't cleaned same day as arrival, respected do not disturb sign to have no room service on a two night stay, provided a bigger container to make my breakfast) outdoor flood light shining in room (ground floor) and impossible to have total dark even with blackout curtains Better than average and the reason I like it here: Comfortable bed (no low back pain and I often have back trouble from beds) hot water available at kitchen 24/7 (hello tea drinkers) great room layout with space for yoga in room 116 (can't speak to other rooms) room close to exit and easy access to truck Steady power at the outlets with 110 power A bit away from the business area, less traffic going by than other hotels Mr.Mike's in same parking lot
