Wet feetBig sites One of the best camp kitchen I have seen. 4 BBQs, 3 sinks, 2 microwaves, 2 fridges, oven and plenty of tables. All undercover in dry area, you will soon know why this is important. Nice pool. Great hot showers. Clean toilets. Well maintained. This summer has been unseasonably wet. The rain has been heavy and often. We have no control over the weather and it's a risk when camping. What this park doesn't have control of is their drainage. None of the sites have drains to put your waste hoses into. Just dug out gutters that divide the sites. When it rained a lot of sites flooded. The worst being Site 70 the site we were allocated for 2 weeks. The park were helpful the first time it flooded and let us move to a higher and dryer site for a few days until the booking they had arrived. So we moved back to site 70. Which had taken 3 days of no rain to drain off. Then it rained again we were ankle deep in water, in some places the water was 15cms or more deep. I went to reception to see if we could move again they were fully booked out except for one powerless site that was half the size and wasn't an option because we didn't bring our solar panels. The receptionists claimed they didn't know the site flooded, although many campers who had been there for many years all knew it did. They said it's a risk when you camp but I don't believe a camp site that cost $1400 for two weeks should flood as much as this. You will have some puddles and wet grass but not inches deep in water across the entire site. I do admit this irritated me and I was quite upset by the lack of empathy shown be the receptionists. I feel the management need to look into why this site and several others that were adjacent to it flood so badly and address the issue with some major works. In addition there is a very small pump system that drains the sites slowly into the nearby lakes. This means all the effluent from every campers washing up and washing machines goes into the nearby lake. The same lake we caught crabs and ate before we knew this. I believe this must breach some sort of environmental law. Luckily a wonderful family from Queensland had moved sites and let us and helped us move to their site, otherwise our holiday would have ended a week earlier.

DissapointingThis is a really great campsite from position to town and beaches. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful BUT it is a total slush mud bath if it rains. On arrival the site next to us were leaving and the lady mentioned that it has been raining a lot and this camp site floods badly when it rains. Well that was an understatement......the camp site is a mud pit after 2 days of rain. Surely they should build drainage, as clearly what they have cannot cope, and also lay concrete slaps at each site to keep things dry from flooding. When we asked we were told by staff that they were planning on doing this in April but then Covid hit. According to another camper, they were there in June and the site was still water logged. As nice and as friendly as the staff and camp site is, after 2 days of living in mud we packed up and left, as were many around us. On the day we were packing up a staff member came past in a golf cart and joked....."Having fun" and we replied this is ridiculous, to which they replied....."we cannot help the rain." I agree with that BUT you can build the camp site to accommodate rains with concrete slabs, enough drainage, and that way customers will return rather than go elsewhere next time. Really disappointing.

Nice Bungalows and ViewsA bit out of town but ok... Swimming pool shower not working... Wifi not working... Bbq out of order... Had a big storm whilst there which was great...glad I wasnt camping Its not possible to swim in the lake near the shores...too shallow... Need to walk a long way out before water depth reaches your knees

Terrific placeFro the wonderfully welcoming receptionist to the most well equipped and extremely clean camp kitchen, we could not fault this place. We had a campervan so cannot comment on the cabins. We just enjoyed this park so much.

Excellent lake side luxury bungalow great viewsSpent 2 nights celebrating 48th wedding anniversary. Great views from deck and from room. Good kitchen set up which led us to dine in for both nights. The lakeside lawns and gardens created a great ambience and helped to appreciate views and nice place to walk. Staff were friendly and easily approachable.
