  Another great stay at Lakeside House

  Our short break of 2 nights was the 4th time weve stayed at Lakeside House. We stayed in one of the superior rooms which was decorated lovely and so spacious. Lakeside House is absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated with great views from our room. We stayed in room No.1 this stay, weve stayed in other superior rooms and its hard to pick a favourite they are all so nice. Lindsey is great fun and so friendly, we would always stay here and will definitely plan another stay next year.

  Fantastic weekend break

  We had booked room 16 at the top of the hotel and boy the stair climb was worth the while. The room was immaculate, great size and a bathroom to match (with bath and seperate shower). The views of the mountains and surrounding park were fantastic from the three windows in the room . Fantastic grill breakfast and the staff were great nothing was a problem. Thanks Lindsey

  Brilliant Big Rooms - Slight Service Issues

  We stayed at the lakeside this past weekend and were allocated a great room with a view of the fells, the room was big, clean, well decorated and the views were brilliant, binoculars included in the room were a nice touch as well. The only issue we had was with the breakfasts, the serving staff were young and inexperienced, these were the only staff we saw during our entire 3 night stay. There was a basic choice of a standard or veg breakfast for all 3 days we were never asked if we wanted any refills, we had to chase up toast a few times. For the price we paid per night I would have expected a slightly better service, instead we left wishing wed have had breakfast elsewhere.

  Perfect escape.

  We have just returned from another visit to lakeside and yet again it was a fantastic stay. The room was lovely with stunning views. The breakfasts were fantastic, slightly different set up from usual due to the pandemic but the system is effective and the food still first class quality. Despite the covid situation we felt safe and secure at all times. Within the hotel it is a requirement that all guests wear masks throughout the hotel and there are sanitiser stations throughout. The best thing about Lakeside without a doubt is the welcome you receive all of the team are fantastic, Lindsey and Peter go the extra mile in all that they do and you are welcomed like old friends. After a difficult few months,it was a much needed break away, and the hotel is just perfect to de stress and unwind. I had my first full nights sleep since march, and after a 4 night stay, feel totally relaxed and re-energised. Thank you to all for a great stay and hopefully we will be able to return soon.

  Excellent Stay

  We stayed at this exceptional hotel for a two night break as it was our first time in Keswick. What can we say...from start to finish this place is better than a 5 star hotel. The staff were exceptional including Lindsey and Oliver treated you as if they had known you for years and it was genuine. These individuals were very honest. The room was comfortable clean with exceptional mountain views. The location is a 5 minute walk to the lake which was excellent and it feels very safe here. This hotel takes COVID 19 very seriously and therefore everything is adhered to the highest CD19 standards. The only improvement would be the weak WIFI coverage but they are working on it. :) We will return in the very near future and we cannot wait!
