  We only stayed in the hotel. We would definitely stay again. They took our temperature when we came in b4 we even checked in. Very clean and sanitized. We ate at the restaurant. They took our temperature b4 we even entered the restaurant. Excellent food and great price. Friendly employees.

  This service sucks!!!!

  Dont use this service!!!!!!! We made our reservation and found out that they didnt serve breakfast and we were going to be paying enough , we should get breakfast. So we called back reservations.com and asked to have a different hotel they we handling and the said we would have to call the hotel, when it clearly said we only had to do that if we book it from the hotel.....

  Don't book here RUDE STAFF ALL DAY ALL AREAS of hotel

  THe minute we walked in the front desk was rude, and seemed upset she had to get out of her chair to help us, all three times throughout our stay. Restaurant staff were not very helpful and seemed as if they were not happy to have to talk to us about the menu. Trying to watch a NFL playoff game in the restaurant was impossible it froze and tiled on both tv's ever 3 seconds and no one seemed to care even when another guest complained about it. Although we were one of the first to check in a simple request of top floor wasn't granted. THe room it self was nice, no complaints about hotel just the horrible customer service which made you feel like you were bothering the staff by asking for anything. Reservation asks what time will you be arriving but this means nothing as we still had to wait until four to check in

  What a neat place far from the maddening crowd. We arrived late but got in our room very quickly. Lakeside checks all our boxes, hotel that takes pets, rooms close to pet walking areas, casino, and friendly staff!

  Continue driving to Des Moines or Kansas City

  We stayed at your hotel on February 6-8, 2021. Upon arriving in our room, we went to hang up our clothes and noticed that the hangers had not been dusted off for many weeks/months so we were not able to use your hangers. Also, there are no tissues in the room to blow your nose....only rough toilet paper. Upon awaking the next morning, we went to the restaurant for breakfast. The food was good, but there was a gentleman that was angry with the hostess at the restaurant and a scene was made. Upon leaving the restaurant, I was going to the gift shop to spend some money, but noticed it was closed so asked at the restaurant when it would be open. They did not know, but told me to find security down in the gambling area. I did that and she went to check with someone else, and I then found out that no one showed up to work the gift shop so it would not be open at all on Sunday, February 7. We then set down in the Sport Book area to watch the Super Bowl. There was a Tampa Bay fan there that was so out of line. He continually told various tables "f" you and continued to flip us off as well as other patrons. Security stood right there and witnessed it, but chose to do nothing about it. We then had to deal with a lady that was drunk that continued to go to various tables and bother them. Again, security did nothing about this, but rather let it continue to happen. She came over to my husband and I and said "I think he is mad at me" which she was referring to our daughter's boyfriend. I said at that point "I think it would be best if you move away from our table and this area". I don't know if my daughter will too write you, but this same Tampa Bay fan was playing at the tables on Saturday night, and was totally out of control. Again throwing the "F" bomb to customers and the dealer, and he was allowed to get by with this. After the game was over Sunday night, our daughter and her boyfriend went upstairs to play Black Jack and after playing for a bit here comes Mr. Tampa Bay, and our daughter's boyfriend asked the dealer why this was acceptable for him to behave the way he does? Well I guess he comes there often and spends money. The sad part of this story is that my daughter and her boyfriend too spend money and because of this guy's behavior, they moved to another area and eventually went back to their room. It is unfortunate that your hotel and casino support this type of behavior from individuals. It is not my plan to ever spend time at your hotel again due to some of the issues that were encountered. You as a company need to decide the type of clientele that you are trying to attract, and it appears you are okay with drunk/obnoxious individuals. You should also strive to have the gift shop, etc. open, but I did notice that there are no days/hours posted, and it is probably because this happens on a regular basis. This is very sad in my opinion and our experience was less than desirable.
