  Excellent Value

  We stayed at the Lakeside appartments just a few weeks ago and were very pleased. The apartment was clean, the kitchen area included everything we needed, including a good size fridge freezer and washer/dryer. It was an easy stroll to either of the 2 swimming pools, lakes and the excellent Jetty Bar and Grill. We received a warm welcome and nothing seemed to be much trouble for the friendly staff. Looking forward to the return visit.

  Fab spot to chill out!

  My friend and I took our daughters for a mini break and it was a perfect venue. The apartment was great with both bedrooms having ensuites, lovely homely accessories and dishwasher and washing machine. You would be very comforatble staying a week or two here. There are two pool areas so we had a choice of where to relax and both were clean and beautifully maintained. The staff were all so helpful and smiley. They had great recommendations of walks, cafes and the added bonus of a restaurant and bar that you can walk to in 2 minutes too! We have booked to come again already.

  Tranquil views...but not sounds

  Tranquil views...but you will need to put up with noise. There is a lot of work happening on the site with no consideration for the guests. No warning. No communication. The leaf blower started before 7am this morning. This topped off the verbal abuse of workmen by the supervisor all afternoon yesterday. A little consideration for and communication with the paying guests would have been appreciated.

  Wowwwwww

  Stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas and wowww!! It is so beautiful. Loved the location, close to everything but far enough away from everything. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful views over looking the lake with fish and ducks. 3 pools, enough space for everyone. We had boats and extra cars which wasn't a problem to accommodate. The units are spacious! I rented 3 2 bedroom units lakeside. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Everything inside the unit that is needed, including pool towels. The owners were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Martin and Rachel thankyou for making our Christmas one to remember. We will be back! :)

  Double booked

  I suppose I cannot leave the most informative review as we didnt manage to stay. After travelling hours and having a lovely day, my partner and I arrived at Lakeside to find no key for us. Called the manager who informed us that he could see our booking but the room we had booked, through their website, wasnt available and they were fully booked. Basically we were told there was nothing he could do and at 6:30pm on a Saturday night we were left to find another place to stay. Partner got me out of there as he could tell I didnt know whether to cry or yell. We ended up finding accomodation as some stingy place half an hours drive away, essentially missing our dinner reservation. My advice to anyone booking here is even if you get the confirmation email and booking number, call and make sure they actually know that youre coming.
