  El mejor AFTERNOON TEA de el distrito de Lagos.

  Otro domingo de TE ingles en un hotel lindo, súper moderno por dentro y manteniendo en el exterior lo antiguo y conservador, con un conservatorio lleno de luz.y con un spa muy lindo y sobrio, con una pileta inmaculada.con respecto al Afternoon Tea : fino, delicado, sándwiches de primera, scones suaves, y una patiserie espectacular y deliciosa. Sin duda hasta ahora el MEJOR.

  Lugar excepcional con unas vistas de lujo!

  Nos hemos alojado un fin de semana para explorar la zona. El hotel es de lujo, un edificio antiguo muy bien conservado y con todas las comodidades por dentro. Las habitaciones están muy bien, el baño muy moderno. El spa está muy limpio y muy bien, lo único es que hay sólo 5 sillas para 74 habitaciones, entiendo que es para que la gente no se apalanque allí. El desayuno y la comida de calidad, todo muy bueno, aunque a precios de 4 estrellas. Un brunch nos costó 40 libras. La parte del conservatorio es espectacular, dan directamente al lago y está llena de ventanales donde entra mucha luz y tiene unas vistas impresionantes. Cuando haga buen clima, tienen una terraza al mismo lago. Lo único negativo es que pagamos 210 libras por noche para tener una habitación con vistas y las vistas fueron a una puerta de una cochera, nos quejamos pero nos dijeron que no se podía hacer nada. Con respecto al personal, agradable pero no hablan otro idioma, un lugar muy turístico y sólo hablan inglés y no tienen consideración, hablan super rápido y en su acento que no es fácil. Ven que eres extranjero pero les dan igual. En el restaurante los camareros son muy pesados, entiendo que tienen que hacerlo así por el tipo de servicio y de clientes, pero para mí es molesto que cada 5 minutos me estén preguntando si todo está bien. Si no lo está, voy a quejarme yo sola. Es un hotel que recomiendo, pero los precios son muy caros, hay que pagar el lujo del lugar.

  Fabulous time away

  Dear Lakeside This was our first stay with you and certainly we will be returning again once these strange times improve for everyone. Everything from checking in, valet parking, our lakeside room, all the staff were friendly and efficient and extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The menu was interesting, food well prepared cooked and served with generous portions. The spa was really good. The hotel itself is of traditional decor which suited the hotel, it was exceptionally clean everywhere. We felt totally Covid safe, at no time did we feel unsettled or unsafe, hand sanitizers, antiseptic wipes were everywhere from the outset. Sadly we only had 2 days as the hotel then went into tier 4 and had to close so new year eve celebrations or cruise down the lake. We wish all the staff a very happy and healthy 2021 and hope to see you all in the summer.

  Christmas Respite

  Dear All at the Lakeside Hotel Just wanted to take the time to write to say thank you again for our wonderful stay last week. It was just what the doctor ordered and we couldnt have been more delighted with any aspect of our stay. We talked all the way home that it was definitely the best place wed ever stayed (and weve stayed in a lot of places!). From the amazing Lakeside Suite room (thank you again so much for letting us stay in there all week, that was a wonderful surprise!), the outstanding friendly service from everyone, the picture perfect view, the lovely entertainment and the sumptuous food. Youve provided us with the Christmas respite care that we both desperately needed after my exhausting year. I feel that I can return to 2021 in a better frame of mind because you made our stay utterly stress less. Your expert catering for my husbands gluten free needs was not only a relief to him, but was a massive pressure off of me too. The bed was also the most comfortable weve ever slept in. My husband also has a very bad back and rarely sleeps when we are away and so it was also nice for him to be able to relax. Please pass on our regards to Erin, who was a total star amongst all the restaurant staff who were also friendly and lovely. We will most certainly be back and Ive recommended many of my friends and family to you also.

  Stunning stay and will return

  What can we say - took us best part of three years to get a Post Christmas break in room 414 - blue lodge with room sauna - but was it worth the wait - yes but only for the madness to kick in over breakfast at 0900 hrs with local authority closing it down because the powers that be moving the area from tier 2 straight to 4 - bit of a bummer for those that arrived last night Politics out of the way this a stunning retreat and staff cant do enough for you - our waiter for evenings was young Delan Robinson - what a charming young man. A credit to what was an amazing team of staff. All of them wonderful Food first class, views first class, accommodation and staff first class Then to top it all, on departure, I was handed a lovely hamper for my wife and I to take home. This is as well as the Christmas cake we had already received. Wonderful touches to a wonderful stay So sad that they had worked so hard to make everyones stay so awesome and then had to close again, along with all the other establishments that have gone through the same Our thanks and best wishes go out to you all, and hope you will all soon be back to work
