  Family Stay at Hotel Lakeview 2nd visit

  We Stayed at Lake view 2 families and children. Ausome Stay, Cottages are nice neat and clean. The staff are polite and welcoming. The food is nice,suggestion to include breakfast in the stay . The Manager Mr Dominic Raymond is doing a good job for this hotel, we can meet him at the Reception office even after 11 pm . Recommended hotel in Ooty.

  Always first choice in ooty but...

  We are regular visitor to ooty from past 12 years and always prefer to stay in Lakeview, as we find it family friendly, have lot of open space, and privacy. The few things which we observed in our recent visits is that the attitude of few new staff is rude and looks like they are doing any personal favor, especially the person who accompanied us to our cottage, We had to carry our luggage and when I asked him he told us that we should have waited for half an hour so that he would call a bell boy. the management need to seriously look into this. The second thing is the food in the restaurant, earlier it was our favorite but from past few years the quality and taste is getting worse, in our recent visit we had our meals outside. I think Lakeview management should take this seriously and works. also in my previous reviews i had mentioned that they can arrange some activities at hotel like indoor and outdoor as apart from kids play area there is nothing much.

  Stay at Hotel Lakeview, Ooty

  We came from Kerala and we had a very good experience in our stay in hotel Lakeview. The food here is nice and the staff are very cooperative. The surrounding scenery is also pleasant. Major tourist spots are located nearby this hotel.

  An ok place to stay

  Myself and my husband stayed here for 2 nights in March. We had booked the villa. My suggestion to everyone booking here is that, pls opt for the Deluxe room. They offer 3 categories of rooms ( Deluxe, suite and villa) . They are all of the same size. In Deluxe room you don't get a sit out area . So you might as well save money this way. They do not offer complimentary breakfast. The room service menu is limited and the food is ok for the price. They do not provide wifi in the rooms( pls chk with them on this before booking). They charge you for plates ( in case you ask them ). Overall , it's an ok place to stay. Try talkin directly to the management and bargaining the room rates( they do give cheaper rates than online portals).

  Happy weekend Stay at Ooty

  Our holiday spical to Ooty Lake view It is a beautiful Holiday spot . Nice and neat location. Cottage type accomodation. Friendly and Cooperative Staff . The climate was Ausome. Will be coming to stay in Lake view next visit to Ooty Thanks & Regards Raymond Sir for the best Hospitality.
