  Muy cerca de legoland

  Un hotel normal de madera muy bien cuidado a la orilla de un lago y a 5min de legoland, tiene una piscina y ofrecen desayuno normal las anotaciones son amplias y limpias pero donde yo dormí el aire acondicionado era muy ruidoso. Los dueños muy amables y atentos a todos los requerimientos. Para dormir una noche después de estar en legoland antes de emprender camino hacia Miami, esta perfecto.volveria? No se!

  Think twice

  The reviews definitely seem to be inflated - this is not a very good place but somewhere between fair and poor. The room was clean and the picnic area by the lake was very inviting - everything else was poor. From far it looked fine but once out of the car, I developed very different impressions. The lobby had the thickest imaginable musky smell of decades of what I would imagine delicious Chinese food (not Panda Express but the original stuff) and looked like I had travelled back in time to find myself in an ancient souvenir store. If you do decide to stay here after all, be sure to pay attention to the directions to your room - one way in and one way out for each section of 3-4 rooms. The doors were difficult to open/close and lock/unlock. Another reviewer said that the furnishings looked like they were pulled out of a dumpster and i really have no arguments against that statement. The shower head was so clogged up that it was spraying a fine mist uniformly throughout the entire bathtub. Breakfast included burned coffee, bagels with cream cheese, bread and butter, Hostess brand mini donuts (quite good), and cereal with milk (which had a best by date of 5 days prior to our visit but tasted fine). Water is $1 at the front desk. The pictures of the hotel must be from several different decades because some look more current than others. Tubing in the lake and lounging at the "beach" - think again - we spotted a couple of alligators.

  Nice place, good value

  We stayed at Lake Roy Beach Inn with our grandson and had a good experience. I recommend this place if your are looking for something nice and easy on the budget. We went to Lego land it was only minutes away.

  You'll Get to Know Your Neighbors -- whether you want to or not!

  I've driven past this property so many times while in town and always thought it looked kind of cute in a retro kind of way. The grounds are well-manicured and they have little pavilions with tiki lights next to the "lake". So, on this trip, I decided to give it a try. First the positive points -- the owners are friendly and welcoming, the room was technically clean, and the WiFi was good. However, the rooms are extremely shabby (and not in a shabby-chic kind of way). I could deal with shabby...what I could not deal with was the extremely thin walls. By "thin" I mean this: it's best if your just put your TV on whatever channel your neighbor is watching. Trust me. Also, you will hear every single word your neighbor utters in their room....every. single. word. Finally, don't be surprised if you wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of your neighbor snoring. I am serious.

  Disappointed

  The best thing about this place is the view onto the lake and being able to watch the sunset. Now: 1) The room was old and in need of a good cleaning. 2) No hot water in the bathroom sink. 3) Patio blinds were messed up and couldnt close . So basically I gave a 2 for the view.
