  New Year Eve perfection

  For the past 15 years we have spent almost every NYE with the same couple and this year they were to meet us in Singapore where we had booked a stopover on our way home from Christmas in Europe. Well of course Covid intervened and ruined all those plans but luckily my clever friend suggested we take the NYE package at the Lakehouse instead. The accommodation was delightful, the food and wines superb, the staff so welcoming and helpful - from the moment we arrived we felt like we were visiting a friend's country house rather than just being paying guests. And where else would the owner's of such a marvelous place circulate amongst their guests chatting and ensuring everyone was enjoying themselves? Drinks and canapes on the lakefront terrace kicked off a fabulous evening which finished some hours later with champagne and yummy tiramisu macarons at midnight. Such perfection we really didn't miss Singapore at all!

  Perfection

  We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary and could not have asked for anything better. It was perfection. Money absolutely well spent. Package included everything. Breakfast every day, dinner every night, drinks, and spa treatment. The service is always so professional but friendly too. The food is absolutely the best quality. The restaurant and drinks lounge atmosphere is divine. I am forever recommending to my friends, family and anyone that will listen! We are looking forward to trying out their new venue.

The team lead by culinary director and owner Alla Wolf-Tasker AM and acclaimed artist and co-owner Allan Wolf-Tasker at the helm deliver beautiful cutting edge menus and wines from their spectacular cellar. The hotels chic studios, suites and retreat villas nestle amongst six acres of lush gardens extending down to Lake Daylesford. Each boasts artwork by Allan. The Lake House team are warm, friendly engaging and truly world class. Customer service is front of mind and the delivery is unobtrusively exceptional. Youll arrive intrigued and leave rested, refreshed and expectations exceeded. This is the beginning of the journey with the Lake House as I know youll want more.

  Very comfortable.

  The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. If your mobility is challenged its worth mentioning because there are some stairs to the rooms and if its wet they can be challenging. The staff do carry your luggage to your room and our room had a door that opened for a pleasant walk around the lake. The restaurant is a standout and breakfast is also wonderful. This Id a very classy place.

  Excellent

  My wife and I stayed her just recently and we cant say enough about how hood this place is. The Accommodations are First Class and the Food at their restaurant is just Fabulous. Delicious and incredibly varied. All in all a fantastic stay and highly recommended. Do yourself a favour and go. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay so special.
