    Clean room

Stayed here as a last resort, rooms were good and clean, location isn't THAT bad but with all the one way streets it can be difficult to get there, hard to find, look for hotel miki and it's next door. Power supply is still intermittent as previous reviews stated, give breakfast a miss, better value elsewhere

    Wouldn't house my dog there

WOW!!! This place was horrible!! When booking accommodation before arriving to Bali we looked on Agoda a found this place, which of course, in all of the photos looked amazing. A nice private room to relax in for 6 nights, further enough away from all of the husstle and busstle, but still clsoe enough to hire a scooter and brave the busy Baliness road culture. Upon arriving at the villas we entered the reception where we waited a few moments before calling out to see if somebody in the, obviously family home upstairs (from all of the chit chat) was able to be of assistance with the check-in process, dying to get to our room and take a dip in the pool. I will also mention for reference that we had purcahsed some nice cheeses and beverages to have in the room on our first afternoon by the pool. The check in process was very general, and the Baliness men were more than happy to assist with assisting with taking our luggage to the "villa". Upon entering the room both myself and friend were silenced. We had her brother and his partner who is a local accompany us to the room, who also did not say a word. I know I was thinking that the pictures on the internet must have been a cut and paste job! We placed our bags down and when the hotelier left the room we began to take a look around, still all in complete silence. I proceded to place the cheese etc in the fridge. The fridge was complete with a minibar, but the fridge looked like it had not been cleaned from the last guests, the freezer had not been defrosted and there was some sort of red liquid that was frozen in the ice. The sink had coffee grind in it also. The most obvious point of the rooms overall cleanliness was of course the main area, the pool! The pool was completely green and looked very dated. However the bathroom was clean, but the door did not shut properly. After gtting over the state of the room we decided that we would speak to the hotelier and explaine that we were not happy and wished to go somewhere else. She mentioned that we would have to pay for 1 nights accommodation, which we did not pay as we were cancelling for hotel cleanliness reasons, she wanted to show us another 2 rooms before we confirmed the cancelation. When they lead us out to the other room it was past a small shack which did not smell clean and across a dirt track covered in water. Upon entering the room the pool was much cleaner howwver when her assistant opened the master bedroom door there was a towel that hed been placed down to absorbe the water from rain and it was stained with the wood stain. We also had concern's about secturity as this room seemed as it was almost situated in amoungst the local community. they mentioned that there was 24/7 patrol, however in the 30-45mins that we were there we did not see anyone who looked they were hotel security. We declined the "room upgrade" and decided to stay at Kusuma Hotel on Jl. Double six. Which might I add was perfect! Nice and quiet with very friendly staff. They do not have a menu, apart from breakfast which suited us fine as we prefered to dine out of the hotel. The pool was also cleaned daily!!

    Dreadful villa and service

We booked for 12 nights through Airbnb. When we arrived we were taken to our villa. We were not shown through the villa and when we walked into the bathroom the first thing we noticed was the bath mat had dirty muddy footprints on it. The towels and linen were a filthy shade of grey when they should have been white. Our villa didn't lock and it took some time to get a lock with a key. The kitchen was dirty and cupboards rotted. The sponge they expected us to clean up with looked like it had been there for several years and was all rusty too as well as an awful stink. Our breakfast was ordered each day for 8.00am and the earliest we ever hot it was 8.45. We checked out after 3 nights and we are still waiting to get the rest of our money back. Please do not stay here. It's not worth saving money.

    Absolutely horrible experience

Although the villa is quite affordable, it is not worth a single cent spent. I would rather you spend your money on a decent 3 star hotel room, which i guarantee you will be a better experience than this. The place is old, creepy and dirty. The showering head is not functioning well and the pool looks dirty and smelly. There are insects all over the place. The paint from the ceiling keep coming down and dirt all over. In the middle of the night you will hear weird noises which make you ponder what exactly the noise comes from, too creepy, a stay here is going to ruin your entire trip in bali. Also, when we checked out and asked for a taxi, the staff colluded with the taxi driver and charge us a high price (we saw the taxi driver passing him money). The staff still "assured" us the price was CHEAP. I wished that I had seen all the bad reviews in trip advisor before booking this LOUSY villa, and i regretted my rash decision. I would really hope you people will see and read the reviews here before booking this villa. All the best.

Worst villa in Bali (Villa Green, Lake Grace Villa)

The worst villa really. NEVER EVER come to this villa. I and my wife came on the 18th dec 2012 and stayed for 3 days. We've booked under booking.com and yeah it looks cozy and nice in pictures. 1st impresssion of the place, theres NO bloody hotel signage, every now and den u have to inform its Jln Dewi Sri, beside miki hotel. Its far from kuta or legian. Gangsters are at the shop infront of the villa every night. 1st impact when we came, there's no reception staff to greet us, we have to shout till they came over. When she came she's just like woken up from a nightmare. Villa theres a lot of mosquitoes and house lizards and cockroaches,u have to bring or buy ur own repellent. Btw if you are there and thinkin of buying, feel free to walk all the way to giant supermarket.(25mins walk) The toilet is all unkept, the floors are filled with dust stains, insects are crawling all around, the sink is like being used over and over again. The bathtub cant be used. The swimming pool is the best feature of the villa but with broken flooring and blowed swimming pool lights. The whole villa is being generated by a generator, every night please STANDBY TORCHES or make yourself a campfire or buy candles. Even the maintenance guy wont be aware if the whole villa is accidently shut down or deliberately shutdown. imagine having an 8 year old swimming and suddenly all lights and power is shut down. Imagine! The breakfast u have to tell dem every day as they go by ala cartes. NO TELEPHONE TO CALL HOTEL STAFFS. PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS VILLA. PLEASE!!!!
