  One night stay

  Read the reviews on TripAdvisor, hence the reason i stayed, Owner is a very friendly gent, prices were very good, room is a little out dated , but good enough for 1 night. Bed was comfortable , shower was hot and good size Tv.

  Clean, what more do you need

  Very clean and serviceable. We stayed two nights, a bit noisy sometimes with the main rd, but you are in a small country town, either you stay out of town and have no noise, or stay closer in and deal with it. Air con, heated blankets, great hot water for showers and it was very economical.

  Nice motel

  Nice motel. Very comfortable room. Bed could be updated. It moves when you turn. It could be the mattress. Housekeeping lady's footsteps walking in up and down the corridor from her trolley to whichever room she's cleaning replacing things in the room one at a time. I get that she can't get the trolley up the stairs. Surely she can collect all the linen you'll need for each room and take with her to the room. Clean the room and put the rubbish outside near the ledge while you make the bed. Collect everything from the ledge from the car bays. That's how we got our bags up from the car. We didn't want to make noise for other guests by walking up and down the corridor. Just a suggestion. Either than the morning footsteps from housekeeping, it's a lovely place. Would stay again.

  Lovely place to stay in Forbes

  Highly recommend: marvellous welcoming host, picturesque location right on the lake, comfy room and bed, bathroom and linens meticulously clean and fresh. Dont hesitate to stay here if you can snag a room.

  Great location, clean, value, very friendly

  Really clean, short walk across a bridge over the lake to town, extremely friendly and helpful. Easy to find. Room had microwave oven, kettle, fridge, toaster, we were offered additional plates and bowls. We'll be back, thanks for the great stay!
