  Un paraiso y dos gotas mas

  Estuvimos alojados en el Hotel Luari, una verdadera joya con vista al lago. Por las noches cenar en la terraza era mágico, como elevarte con tu pareja al mundo pasado donde todo era como un cuento de duendes y princesas. Estuvimos en muchos lugares del mundo pero il lago de Garda por belleza y majestuosidad y el hotel Lauri por su perfume bohemios y romanticos y su maravillosa hospitalidad nos deslumbraron.

  Best location in town

  Booked this hotel as it was close to the castle. We came to Malcesine for my son's wedding, so the hotel needed to be close to the venue. Room came with air con and a free safe. The bathroom was stylish, functional and just fabulous. T.V. channels available were very comprehensive if you are fluent in Italian or German, otherwise not so good. Breakfast was better than expected, with a limited 'hot buffet' section of bacon, scrambled egg, baked beans and toast. Other delights included home made cakes, cereals, ham, cheese, yogurt and fruit. Eating out on the Piazza every morning was great. The receptionist/manager was very nice and she seemed to like us. In the evening, we ate in the restaurant, taking advantage of a residents 20% discount. (included alcoholic drinks) The two bars opposite were a great place to sit, drink and people watch. On 3 occasions there was live music. All of this, and the best location in Malcesine, what's not to like? Oh yes, nearly forgot. We booked this through Tui. They were great too.

  Nice hotel

  Nice place in the middle of the city center. Excellent staff who was very helpful. It was and a good qaulity room. Breakfast was superb. Only thing that needs to be a "little" better to get the 5th dot is that the beds were a little to hard to my taste.

  Concerned that we had a great time

  The hotel is right in the middle of the town square,if youre here for a wedding(like we were)you are in the perfect spot. We were greeted by a huge smile at reception, greeted and processed with a minimum of fuss,the rooms were perfect, air conditioning on,ultra clean bathroom ,and the obligatory Tv showing hundreds of channels none in English. Sooooo the big question why give a 3 star hotel a 5 star review?? In my opinion you can get stars for the way your concerned about your guests holiday experience and go out of your way to make it better I will give some examples. We were half board,but on our first night all our wedding party were meeting for a get together meal/drinks just out of town,so we didnt go for our evening meal,the next morning reception saw us and asked,as we had missed our meal would we like to have a lunch that day to make up for it !!! Wow As we were leaving for our flight very early in the morning,again reception,concerned we were missing out on breakfast,made sure a packed breakfast was in our room fridge to take with us!!! Wow Im sure you can get a better stared hotel in Lake Garda,if you get the same service....well your doing well.

  Superb location

  We came to malcesine for a long weekend and chose hotel lago di Garda. It is right in the centre, so perfect to access the castle, lake and all of the restaurants in town. The rooms are very clean with working air conditioning. We did get single beds pushed together which was a bit disappointing, but I believe that is common with the region. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fairly good although I have seen better. We also came for the ciottolando food festival and the hotel restaurant produced our favourite dish. All in all would definitely recommend.
