  No hizo honor a su nombre

  Bonito hotel,e imagino que con bellas vistas que no pudimos disfrutar. Llegamos a media tarde,y nos fuimos a media mañana con niebla,lloviendo,una lástima. La habitación amplia,con chimenea de gas, limpia y buen colchón y almohadas. Baño amplísimo,con ducha y bañera enorme. Aconsejo a la dirección que los letreros informativos de utilización de aire acondicionado y llenado de bañera, aparte de japonés,los escriban en algún otro idioma más comprensible para los occidentales. Desayuno algo básico y cena normal,con camareros muy voluntariosos y amables,pero poco efectivos. En general,esta fue la impresión que nos llevamos en todos los restaurantes y hoteles que visitamos.

  Sin palabras !! Simplemente espectacular

  La calidad y servicio de este con respecto a su precio es indescriptible, hacen honor al nombre la vista al monte Fuji desde que abres lo ojos no hay palabras para describir, los servicios ofrecidos incluidos en el precios súper bien como las cabinas privadas de spa y el público al aire libre súper bien!! El desayuno de excelente calidad y servicio, la habitación perfecta.

  French Chateau!

  My partner and I stayed here for one night only and hoped for the best that we could (a) see Mt Fuji clearly and not hidden behind clouds, and (b) see Mt Fuji from our room. As luck would have it, we picked the clearest day of the entire trip to stay here, and luckier still, we had clear unobstructed, breathtaking views of Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko from our room. We stayed in room 709 which was on the top floor. The room was absolutely gorgeous, with bath wear, and leisure wear, slippers, a hot tub on the balcony as well as public and private baths which you can use. Unfortunately we did not get the chance to use this but it looked amazing. The restaurant there offers a Japanese and western breakfast and a French 8 course degustation if you choose. We chose to stay here in the middle of our trip, between the hustle and bustle of Kyoto and Tokyo and it was perfect for that down time to relax and take in the sights. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke English. The hotel itself is up on a hill so its about a 5-10 min walk to restaurants other than the one at the hotel. I would highly recommend this place to stay if you are looking for a romantic getaway and for the view of Mt Fuji alone!

  Gorgeous Views

  Winter is the best time to see Mt Fuji due to the visibility and I doubt you could get a better view of Mt Fuji than this. The hotel itself is pleasant but not luxurious. Food, service and onsen were all good. But the standout here are the spectacular views from the room and all areas of the hotel. As others have mentioned, if you're intending to move around the area, a car would be useful.

  One of the best hotels Ive stayed in!

  I stayed here with family specially with the intention of seeing mt. fuji- we drove by car from Tokyo to here and theres a rather steep path up to the hotel... the check in experience was incredible, we had a host who sat with us and went through everything there was to offer at hotel including the incredible 5 course meal that was included in our stay, this menu differed slightly on each day of our trip so we didnt get the same thing every night either - the restaurant is superb. The rooms are super clean, spacious and have the most incredible view!! (See the pictures) - our room included a tub with views out to Mount Fuji - Ill be honest I got in there every morning because of the view. We had nothing but a positive experience at the hotel, the staff all spoke amazing English and could not have done more to help us! theres a little shop where you can purchase souvenirs too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay around this area, and if I come back I wouldnt hesitate to book again. Thank you, you made my first visit to Mount Fuji unforgettable.
