  Estancia maravillosa.

  He leído otras opiniones antes de escribir la nuestra y verdaderamente lo que se menciona positivo no es exagerado. Hotel familiar muy bien dirigido por Silvia, una profesional, siempre atenta para facilitar buen servicio e información al huésped. Personal de limpieza, desayuno, restaurante, ubicación, etc., todo muy bien. En definitiva ha sido un placer estar en este hotel. Recomendable para todo el mundo , hablan perfectamente inglés y especialmente para los españoles por la facilidad de comunicarse. Gracias a Silvia y a toda su familia. Maite y Gonzalo.

  Wonderful stay!!

  My fiance and I visited this hotel whilst attending a friends wedding at San Crispolto villa. At first glance Hotel La Vela is like any sleepy Italian town hotel but what really brings it to life is the the AMAZING staff. They are incredibly attentive and helpful and made our stay so special that we ended up staying an extra night!! The hotel itself is basic but clean and comfortable and so peaceful. We had a great night's sleep as its so lovely and quiet. The view of the lake is breathtaking and the town itself has lovely restaurants and is filled with locals. What more could you wish for! If what you're looking for is a relaxing break that is excellent value for money this is the one! Can't wait to tell our friends and family about this hidden gem.

  The Best Hospitality in the world!!

  I booked this hotel last minute after leaving a hotel I had previously booked in Arezzo where the owner was so nasty that we decided to leave. The hotel La Vela is very unpretentious but what can I say? Silvia, Silvia, Silvia!!! She is the perfect hostess, someone who is truly passionate for hospitality and understands that you can have an amazing hotel but if you don't have the warmth that she shows to each individual client in her hotel, all the rest is worthless. Thank you for having us, we will be back!!!

  Good level of cleanliness, but quite weak elsewhere

  Rooms are quite small, bathroom is very small - in particular the sink is ridiculouly small. The room was really clean. Sleeping quality was an issue: You can close the windows, then the A/C is very noisy. Or you can open the windows, the you hear the A/C outdoor units and the train from time to time. The power Outlets were not EU standard, but the old ones from Italy - so without an adaptor you can only charge small devices like Mobile Phones, and not large devices like big Notebooks.

  Great place to stay

  This was my third stay in this lovely hotel. Great location with a lovely host Sylvia that is so helpful. Breakfast was great too and good coffee. Rooms are spotless and very quiet. Easy 5 minute walk to the lake. I will be back...
