  Experience from a week staying at this hotel

  The La Valle Verde hotel is very pleasant and quiet and you get an exquisite care from the owner and his family. The hotel staff is very attentive and helpful. This family hotel is located in the quiet part of Calabria, about 9 kms from the city of Tropea. Accommodation - the room is clean, spacious, with a good reception of Wi-Fi, the air-conditioning, a fridge and a safe. The food is delicious and the home-made pizza is high-class. The breakfast is diverse and varied. The sea and the sand beach are about 5 minutes from the hotel and the experience is really amazing. I highly recommend to other people interested in staying there.

  Fantastic holiday!

  We spent 5 days at La Valle Verde and the family Salvatore, Natalina e Maria went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. The meals cooked for our dinner were outstanding!! Would love to return in the summer time as the sea and scenery in the area is worth the visit. Thanks you again for a lovely holiday. Marina and Dereck

  Excellent Restaurant

  Me and my family discovered La Valle Verde in 2008 on our 1st visit to Calabria and went back in 2012 and again recently in July 2015 and have to say this restaurant serves fantastic fresh food to an excellent standard. Pizza cooked In a real wood oven , fresh fish ,meat and pasta dishes on the Menu all served by the lovely family that own the place. Fantastic place , fantastic food and fantastic service .

  Unprofessionalism

  Why do websites promote a hotel like this when they not follow the minimum requirements? We booked this hotel via Laterooms for our honeymoon journey in Italy at a very good price taking into account the area and the season! We were very happy to finalise our booking when a few hours later the nightmare had arrived! We received an email from an account that was not the one we checked on the hotel's website asking for our card details to make a payment when at our booking time there was no information about prior payments. Immediately we contacted the hotel and a member of staff confirmed that she had sent an email. She asked again for our bank details and we gave her our details to make the total payment. A few minutes after the same woman sent another email informing us that the card was rejected! We contacted them again and gave her a different card (knowing in advance that we didn't have any problem with both cards). After that she send another email (and by the way all of them very informal with no references to thr hotel or name or even a simple greeting!) saying that the booking was going to be cancelled if the payment was not done within 24 hours! We contacted laterooms and it was mentioned that the problem was going to be sorted by them. We waited 3 days with no response so I contacted laterooms again where a costumer assistant said that it was no information on the system regarding my problem! They contacted the hotel and a few minutes later they said that the person who answered the phone had "very little english" so she did not understand what the costumer assistant was trying to say. We waited for a few more hours but due to both laterooms and la valle verde lack of intention or other reason we decided to cancel our booking despite all extra cost for phone calls, time spent and specially stress caused before our wedding!

  Nice and relaxing stay

  Really nice and relaxing place. Perfect for families or couples who want to have nice and peaceful holiday. Nice clean rooms, Two stunning beaches withing walking distance and we have really enjoyed our 10 days in here and they have a real stone baked pizza! Yumy! :)
