  It is a nice Hotel, great rooms. But lack of some items you'll like to find on 3* hotel, like soap. The cleaning is good though. The personnel is fine, amiable and serves very correctly. Situated in the inner Rivesaltes, the parking can be tricky though. The price including breakfast a little high. Stil, I may book it again in Rivesaltes, other choices are only concerned for the airport nearby.

  New owners are giving this hotel a make-over

  We booked this hotel at the last minute. It is tucked away down one of the narrow streets in the old part of Rivesaltes. We used to go out of our way to eat in the restaurant here many years ago, but the hotel has changed hands twice since then. The second set of owners had only been in situ for a few months at the time of our visit. Gone is the cosy, traditional restaurant: it has been modernised and now looks more like a cafeteria and so has sadly lost its character. For the moment, very little is on offer foodwise. The new owners are in the process of modernising the bedrooms too. We stayed in the unmodernised family room, into which have been squeezed very tightly two double and one single bed. It is in need of a facelift but was clean. The bathroom is enormous, but the tiny shower had seen better days and leaked over the floor. We did not stay for breakfast so cannot comment on this. We wish the new owners luck with the venture. They will need it.

  Passing Through

  A great quiet little hotel in the centre of the old part of town. Basic but clean and comfortable. Great value for money. It is no swanky but tickets all the boxes for us: Very clean, comfortable, quiet, plenty of hot water and powerful shower. All for under 60! An absolute bargain. On top of this the couple who run it are utterly charming. The church bells stop at 10pm but if you are planning a long and leisurely lie it they awake with a vengeance at 7am! On the downside, public parking was a little bit away.
