    warm confort in the alps

    I've been there in early August 2012 for a three days stay. While is not really a full feature hotel it's really confortable, all the staff from the receptionist to the the breakfast ladies and the people responsible for the SPA had a great and friendly approach. Beside the lodging there a nice SPA with two sauna (indoor and outdoor), a pool and two whirlpool (also inside/outside) and steam bath. The rooms offers plenty of space and gives you a pleasant and warm feeling. These are very confortable and silent. All from the rooms to the SPA was really clean. The hotel is about 3km away from the village center but had the advantage to be in the woods and right on some nice walking paths. The food (dinner) was just right, nothing exceptional, but good and well prepared. It's great for taking some rest away for crowded places.

    Not the best of experiences...

    Great disappointment that they do not clarify when you book that you have to pay extra for the use of the spa facilities, you find that later, so you are JUST PAYING FOR A BED. Also, the room walls are so thin they could be made of paper, hence YOU HEAR EVERY NOISE OUTSIDE YOUR ROOM WHEN TRYING TO SLEEP. Paradoxically, it is supposed to be a place for 'relaxation'.... Also, the staff had no clue about restaurants in the area, they barely spoke in English, and they couldn't even locate their own hotel on the piste map (funny, given that the hotel is on piste 19). Furthermore, the hotel owner was horribly defensive when confronted with the several problems going on in his hotel. Overall, a rather sad experience. And it is a shame as the hotel location is great -so is the spa-, and Ponte di Legno is such a beautiful place and a great ski centre...

    Excellent kitchen and spa facilities

    Spend three nights here, and the dinner at the restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. A great variety of - all well prepared - courses. The staff really made the visit a great experience. Thank you Yuri. The spa area was also in perfect order and very well equipped.
