Amazing!Stayed there for 4 nights during our trip through the Aeolian islands. The hotel was lovely, with extremely comfortable and large rooms. The owner (Sabrina) was extremely nice to us and accommodating, organised all of our transfers including free trips into town every morning, organised our excursions and recommended the best places to eat. She even provided us a packed breakfast on mornings we started early. The hotel is located in Canneto, which is about 5-10 minutes from the main town - this is the only disadvantage because you have to go to and from town for the better restaurants/excursions. Otherwise it's a very small and quiet town on the sea front which is perfect for a quiet getaway. The natural hot tub on the roof was great, and in summer should be even more enjoyable.

Not what we were looking for.I booked this hotel because of the TA reviews. It is a cozy place, it does have a very friendly staff, some of the rooms are spacious but there are some short comings particularly as the hotel cost us more than $300 [AUD] a night. Most importantly while this hotel is on the Island of Lipari it is not in Lipari. It is a 10 minute bus trip away in Canneto. Canneto offers little in the way of bars, restaurants or good beaches. So if you want to see Lipari you either get a taxi for 10 euro each way or a local bus. We were promised a pick up from the Port when we arrived. It didn't come. The excuse was that the phones were not working which was true. But I saw plenty of hotel pick ups while I roasted in the sun waiting for the pick up.I had not been told to call when I arrived. The hotel knew when we were coming. The hotel rooms are a reasonable size. We were offered 2 to select from. We took the larger one which was just adequate. The bath room was good. The hotel has opted for an all white appearance. Fine but it get dirty and it needs a clean. They say they have a pool which I wanted when I arrived. It turns out it is a thermal pool at around 38 degrees which is used mostly by the sea gully who like to leave messages. The alternative is an average beach full of rocks. The breakfast was pretty ordinary. Some fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, juice and tea. For what we were paying some eggs would have been nice. I would like to rate this higher but it didn't suit us. I love the friendly people but I want a conveniently situated hotel with a pool and a decent breakfast for the money we paid. There is free WIFI, and a limited free mini bar. The hotel will help with trips to the city by driving you there.

Gracious hotelLa Settima Luna was a lovely surprise. A small intimate hotel where staff cannot do enough to help. Our room was huge with a separate entrance area for bags and a wardrobe, a separate sitting room with lounge and tv, and a bathroom. Steep stairs led to the bedroom with a second ensuite powder room. It had aircon. The downstairs lounge was a bed so really slept 3. It was only room like this. The hotel had two very comfortable and classy sitting areas and breakfast was great. Rooftop had ordinary pool but a cute bar and sitting area. Behind a church the area quiet and a 20m walk to beach front.

Perfect choice for Lipari and surroundingDuring our trip to the Aeolian Islands we spent few nights in the La Settima Luna Hotel. We decided to stay in this hotel according to the positive comments in many travel portals and traveller who liked this hotel, and most of the comments turned up to be right. We had the pleasure to be hosted from a lovely employee called Sabrina. She was taking care that every things ok during our stay. With her smile she was greeting every one and was as helpful as she can. The hotel has the perfect size for the island and very clean and modern decorated. Once you enter the premises you will have the feeling that you are at home, the owner or the inner architect had well done job. You feel this everywhere in this hotel The only negative aspect which we had during our stay during the March month is the breakfast room was very cold and not isolated and in some mornings we were forced to set on the table with the winter jacket. Sabrina knew that problem and was offering to serve the breakfast in the room if we wish. If anyone is planning to stay in summer or late spring this aspect will not be effective but if you decided to travel as we did during winter or pre spring then you must expect it and be prepared with the jacket I hope that the owner would think to make arrangement against this minor aspect and then the hotel will be the perfect place to stay in Lipari

Small and beautifulThis small, very stylish hotel is a surprise in Canneto. It is situated one street back from the Main Street. It has seven rooms and I probably had one of the smallest as I was a solo guest. It was a very comfortable room with every amenity. The bathroom was beautiful with great attention to detail and plenty of products. The hotel itself is all white in great taste and I cannot fault it. The weather didn't tempt me to use the spa pool which would be on my list on another occasion The breakfast is simple but excellent. The staff kind and obliging. Sabrina looked after my every inquiry and helped me find a restaurant, La Bussola as I did not want to go into town on the day I arrived. I had lunch and dinner there which was very good and was looked after very well. The following day I took the bus into the main town and Sabrina arranged for the driver to bring my bag later to meet me at the hydrofoil on departure so that I didn't have to drag it around with me. I would definitely go back. There is not much to see In Canneto but it has a long pebbly beach and some nice looking lidos to spend the day at the beach. As long as you have rock shoes, everyone sells them, a swim in the sea is wonderful. It is warm and clear. As I know the main town well I was happy to be staying outside of the town. The bus runs during week days every fifteen minutes I think it was $1.50. The bar where you buy your bus ticket is just around the corner from the hotel as is the bus stop, easy. There are heaps of nice shops and restaurants in the main town.
