  Family run country house with magnificent views

  We were on a walking holiday so only booked into this delightful B&B for one night. It had been a very hard days walking in an unexpected heatwave so we were very relieved to arrive. The owners father came out to greet us and this very charming man offered us a welcome cold drink before showing us to our very large, clean and comfortable room. We had dinner on the terrace, with fabulous views. This was prepared and served by a lovely young local woman. The food was simple but utterly delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the company of one other Danish couple as we sipped Limoncello and watched the stunning sunset. There is a lovely pool which we didn't get a chance to enjoy unfortunately. I can't recommend this B&B highly enough.

  Beautiful place - friendly staff

  We stayed at La Quercetta for 3 nights. We really enjoyed the stay! The surroundings are so, so beautiful - and the owner (Cesare), his son (Francesco) and Elena (she made us two wonderful dinners) were all so nice and attentive! It's a wonderful and quiet place. Go! :-)

  Amazing view, food, wine, and staff!

  Would stay here over and over again. Situation on a hill overlooking 3000+ olive trees. Cesare and staff went above and beyond to assist me with my mother who uses a walker up and down a few stairs to our amazing HUGE room with and amazing view. The pool and views were breathtaking day and night and the food was superb. Thanks you for an a great and comfortable stay.

  Absolute Heaven

  Sometimes there are in this world people and places that make us want to do it all again. Cesare and his awesome place here in the heart of Umbria is one of them. To be welcomed by such a genuine and generous host is something rare and from the second we stepped inside this beautiful place we knew we had struck gold. Set in the midst of beautiful olive groves La Quercetta is like heaven on earth . Magnificent rooms and the most delightful terraces make this place a must for those who want to get away from the noisy and often indifferent hotels. We were welcomed and made to FEEL welcome by Cesare and his lovely wife. The rooms and bathrooms so beautifully kept are spotlessly clean and with homely touches that make you feel...well, at home. Sitting on the beautiful terrace watching the sun setting over the Umbrian hills was just breathtaking and we were content to be here ....but my goodness what a treat awaited us. Ramina, who does the cooking sat us down at a beautifully laid table first of all greeted us with such warmth as if we were long lost friends.....and that was just the start of a magnificent gourmet meal the likes of which are rare outside of the most prestigious of restaraunts. We were served a delicate selection of anti pasta and then secondly the pasta dish and to our delight a filet de beouf en croute that was mind blowing in its delicacy and perfection. Truly, it is a pleasure to eat so well and have the added luxury of a wonderful Sagrantino wine and delightful hosts in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Would we go back again ? To be honest it is with some sadness that we have to leave. Yes we will return and this time stay for longer. Thankyou for your delightful place and comfortable rooms .   Overrated property

  We stayed for 6 days. Room had no wifi and beds were too hard. Still tape in the shower (left from painting...) Ended up having serious back pain after each night. Poor Italian breakfast. Cesare was very nice and gentle but other personnel not. Nice swimming pool and spectacular view. Would not go back
