  Got scammed

  We visited the hotel in August at high season. We did not pre book it. I called them if they had a room. They told me they only have single rooms. As I was with my wife it was not an issue. But when we got there they told us that the only option was to rent out 2 rooms, and then we may decide which one to use. I think this is a joke and a scam. As there were no other accommodation possibilities we took the two single rooms and stayed in one. They ripped me off 77 euro for a room which was not used. In one of the rooms there were no toilet paper and soap. The other had no hot water, only some warm-ish. Also they say the wifi is free but you have to pay for it at yhe counter. Another joke. Not recommended. If you can't find another place to stay stay on the beach instead of these scammers.

  Great hotel, great location.

  Stayed at Hotel La Punta for just one night but wish I had stayed longer! Lovely hotel, with friendly staff and tasty breakfast in the morning! Hotel La Punta is in a great location with a short walk into Otranto old town. I would love to go back!

  a very nice hotel

  I stayed at Hotel la punta for one month in september. The hotel was perfectly located near the beach and near the city center. The owners are very nice and the rooms nice and clean. I would definitly recommend it.

  Nice hotel, excellent breakfest, great location! :)

  We visited at Hotel La Punta for just one night, but after we prolonged our reservation for one more. Because it was very lovely and clear modern hotel with excellent breakfast in the mornings and really grand location vocabulary about 100 m from the beach :)

  Lovely hotel, delicious breakfast, very close to the seaside!

  Otranto is a hidden treasure in Italy and hotel La Punta is a perfect place to stay there. We were initially going to stay one night but were so warmly welcomed by Francesca and Carlo that we decided to stay much longer which was the best decision! The hotel location is great - very close to the beach , quiet, super clean and the breakfast is delicious (home baked cakes by Francesca, fresh fruit salads, and and and). Both Francesca and Carlo are lovely people - Francesca is super warm and welcoming and Carlo doing his best to accommodate his guests needs. La Punta hotel is a real value for money! We plan to visit Otranto again and we will definitely be booking our accommodation at Hotel La Punta.
