  Room with a view

  We stayed in Tome this is a small two person apartment when we stay anywhere for a week the wife prefers the informality of the self catering fortunately we only have fruit and coffee for breakfast and take all our other meals out the cooking possibilities in the apartment are very limited two hot plates and a small micro wave although clean and a comfortable bed the bathroom is in serious need of some TLC having said all this you wonder why we give it very good rating because its convenient base for touring it has stunning views from the window and a nice small seating area outside and close to a wide choice of restaurants

  Ponant... a hovel!

  Having booked and paid for a studio room, we arrived mid afternoon. The welcome at reception was anything but welcoming. The patron stood at the top of the stairs & told us to come back at 5pm (this is not mentioned on the website). He turned and closed the door on us! As we walked away stunned he came out, shouted us back & let us into the room. He demanded the 2euros tax which went straight in his pocket without a receipt & told us to make sure we cleaned up after ourselves. He then demanded to know what time we were leaving in the morning. He also gave a demonstration of how to trap the cord for the blind on the only window (which is overlooked by the pavement & road ). It was necessarily to trap the cord in the window to stop the blind shooting up! At this point we were still amused by the quirkiness of the place. The first thing we noticed was the strong odour of drains in the bathroom, which as time went on developed into an pig sty of a stench permeating the entire studio. The table was sticky & we had to wash all utensils before we could use them. By bedtime we were reluctant to enter the foldaway bed covered in what looked like a piece of sacking. There was also a cavernous gap behind the bed... god knows what lurked down there! After a restless night we awoke to the most disgusting stench. My partner had to step outside at 5am for fresh air. We had no appetite for preparing breakfast and left at the crack of dawn. Before we left we noticed that although no one else was staying, all the windows were slightly ajar. Obviously to allow some fresh air into those rooms too. All in all I wouldn't put my dog in thus place... although you can take a pet! You can also smoke (presumably to improve the aroma! )

  Fácil aparcamiento, tratamiento familiar, los apartamentos están bien equipados para poder cocinar, las camas cómodas, limpieza bien. Televisión, wifi, mesa y sillas, magnificas vistas al mar. Paseos y excursiones en toda la zona.
