  Very relaxing 2-day holiday

  Very quiet and nice place, wonderful surrounding, only 11 km from Orvieto. The staff very nice and helpful. Good food with typical local dishes.

  Quiet hotel near to a lake and the city of Orvieto.

  Excellent location at about 200 m. from a lake and a few kilometers from the beautiful city of Orvieto. Also perfect location for those who like to explore inland Umbria. You can really relax there e.g. at the swimming pool. Friendly service. Comfortable, clean rooms. Restaurant with some nice food and all of this at reasonable prices!

  Tranquil country retreat by Lake Corbara and close to Orvieto.

  We have enjoyed our peaceful, tranquil retreat here at La Penisola Resort only approx. 15 minutes drive to the medieval village of Orvieto (a must see, we spent two days exploring the village inc. tours). At La Penisola Resort the restaurant is below and guests staying are upstairs. The Tuscany styled building is of solid construction, no noise from the restaurant could be heard from our room. Our room had heating, we were warm and comfortable. Our access to our room was either through the main entrance also leading to the restaurant or outside upstairs patio where a quiet seating area was available for quests, this meant our door opened out onto the patio, freshening up our room with plenty of sunlight. Another bonus when travelling by car there was plenty of parking space at La Penisola Resort. As weary tourists we enjoyed coming back to La Penisola Restaurant to enjoy a hearty meal (just downstairs from our room) of homemade pasta , slow cooked rabbit - wild boar beautifully presented (back at home N.Z.a restaurant of this caliber would be classed as "exclusive" ) and fine wine. The staff were very friendly and welcoming with limited English except for the young and enchanting Camila the receptionist who took care of our requirements and offered helpful tourist advice. It was low season the price of our stay including breakfast was very good value and the restaurant was incredibly reasonable for what was on offer, staff at the restaurant were very professional. Yes, pizza was on offer but why not enjoy the "game" cuisine that requires the skill of a gourmet Chef. La Penisola Resort (Retreat) a place we would come back again to stay.

  Amazing scenery, great food, very friendly staff, not expensive, surprising there weren't more people

  The hotel is beautifully located on a peninsula near the lake. Has a nice pool. We had a great room (shower needed de-clogging though) at a very reasonable price. Staff was very friendly and food in the hotel very good. Very much to my surprise there weren't very many people there (mid-July).
