  Its a 3 star budget hotel!!

  I dont understand the negative reviews. This place is cheap, within easy walking distance of the Old Town and its clean if a little basic. Deluxe triple room had air con, large fridge with complementary water and bathroom with bath and shower. The water pressure was almost non-existent but it did manage to feed the shower. We stayed 2 nights so we seriously did not have sufficient time to fill the tub lol. Breakfast was ok Staff were lovely and they were helpful. Maybe they dont speak English that well but they are better at it than I am at speaking Thai and they can read it well so there was no problem. Its handy for the ferry pier for Phi Phi & Krabi and we walked up the large hill in front of it to see the monkeys. We walked into the old town both nights for dinner and theres a 7-Eleven just over the road.

  Very pleasant stay

  We stayed there on 9th to 11th April. It was really happy staying there. Staff is very friendly and helpful and always care their guests. Delicious food for buffet breakfast. Clean rooms. Near to the city and main road. We were really happy about the service. They have some tour packages so we can arrange some from their guidance too.. Really happy to visit there again..

  Good place to stay around Old Town Phuket

  Pluses: Nice staff, good location, pretty decent room, good internet, big fridge. Spent here 2 nights - to browse around the area on a bike. Minuses: Many small ants in the room. I can see hotel trying to get rid of them (cause when I squashed a few of them, they smelled with chemicals), but it's not working. At my next place I still had to hunt them all over my clothes and bag. And threw away my chocolate which was in a plastic bag, yet they somehow got inside - because of the fact that every single one of them was poisoned with chemicals. Loud airconditioner itself and the box outside, on the balcony. I sleep well though now, but earlier that would def. make a problem for me. I'm a raw vegan, so not much for me on breakfast, yet for 100THB it is offered, one might still find sth to eat.

  Lamoon Resotel - average

  My two mates and myself arrived here about 10am... we were met with a warm welcome and a drink that was lychee flavoured and bloody sweet!! I payed quite a bit extra on wotif.com, expecting my room to be a lot more impressive (about $226.00 AUD) more than what my mates had paid for a 6 night stay... unfortunately the rooms were all the same !! The beds were absolutely awful, very uncomfortable and pretty much looked like a front gate of a driveway underneath a few bed sheets!! The breakfast was quite similar... awful! we ended up going elsewhere for food, which was a shame as it cost extra for breakfast on top of the room. On a positive note: the staff were very accommodating, friendly and the laundry service was dirt cheap for a bloody good job done! I recommend stay no longer than 1-3 days here...

  Good and convenience location

  The location is great where there are convenience stores, restaurants and local shopping mall nearby. Only a few minutes walk to the famous Sunday Walking Street in Thalang and the Wed to Fri Indy Night Market. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. There is free parking and the hotel building is aged, so don't expect it could look like the same as you see on the pictures on the website.
