  PERFECT LOCATION FOR AN IMPORTANT INTIMATE FAMILY (parents + 16 yr old son) CELEBRATION

  The hotel was perfect in its location (a village in the burgundy wine area) and in its external and internal presentation. The rooms were charming and extremely well furnished and equipped. The personal service was immaculate - the reception at entry, the room service throughout, the staff during dinner and breakfast, and the checkout. The cuisine was perfect.

  nice hotel with a beautifull big bathroom and a good resteurant. it lies in the middel of the region and is easy to find.Friendly people modern ans an eye for detail i can recommand it to everybody who likes wines and dining

  Wonderful refurb

  This was always a great place to stay, but recent expansion and refurbishment has produced an absolutely excellent hotel, in a lovely village. Staff team couldnt be more helpful. Stayed in Olivier suite which was first class.

  Fabulous stopover

  We stayed at this hotel on our way from Chamonix to Champagne. Comfortable simple bedroom, gorgeous pretty bathroom with roll top bath, great shower. Dinner in the tastefully and beautifully renovated restaurant was fabulous with matching wine flight. Met the owner who introduced himself to all guests at their table. Breakfast served to you at your table due to COVID, the quality and freshness of the food was excellent. Will definitely return.

  a place to learn to live

  Our August, 2019 second stay remains a cherished memory. The effortless ease, casual luxury, faultless execution of hospitality and cuisine remained intact from five years previously. But it's not just fancy food and cosmetics. This is a serious place to refine your taste for Burgundy (the place and the wine). Consider the hotel a school, the tariff as tuition. If at all possible, stay at least a single night so that you can sample the superior level of evening menu degustation, two tours, and breakfast with ample time for a tutorial after that. A tutorial? yes. Give yourself a gift of acquaintance with Charles Devarennes, sommelier. Not merely to confirm the wine selections with dinner. Instead, offer serious discussion of your taste and desires to learn. The information will stay with you for a long time. M. Devarennes guided us to the purchase of a case of vins de Leflaive. More than that, he provided us with introductions in Pommard, Corton, and Chambolle Musigny...all of which were individually matched to our palates (yours will be quite different). Tonight we had a 2014 Leflaive Champ Gain Puligny 1er. Many others will follow over the next 6-8 years. It's painful to learn that the maison is closed for now (the virus?), and you should alert yourself to the time when it reopens. Sante.
