  A great week in September

  We were fortunate to choose this village for part of our Italian holiday. Matthew and all his team really do their best to welcome and look after you throughout. The village is quite small and adjoins the sea. Walk down a few steps from the ample terrace with its sunloungers and chairs and you are immediately in the warm sea looking out to Elba. Swimming is brilliant and there is a Roman road submerged a few metres from the steps which is an interesting surprise. We took full board and the standard of food and choice is excellent. A packed lunch is available if you wish and once a week there is a party on the terrace where you can enjoy the sunset as well as good food. Accommodation is very comfortable with a small terrace outside each bungalow. Overall the atmosphere is peaceful and fellow guests were happy and very friendly. Naturally we were very sorry to leave and most definitely will return for a longer stay if circumstances permit.

  Holiday by the sea

  A place by the sea doesn't get much closer than this. We stayed for three nights with two children aged 9 and 11. At first I thought the lack of beach would be a downside - but to get straight into the water was great and the kids spent more time in the sea as a result (and there are two beaches either side you can access easily). The rooms are simple (air conditioned) but all you need as you spend all of your time outside. We catered for ourselves but bought lunch on arrival and bought some sandwiches on our last day (and ice creams every day). They do a grand multi course meal once a week on the sea terrace which we joined (but ate so much I couldn't sleep!). The manager was very welcoming promptly dealing with anything we raised. Pluses included free wifi (a bit temperamental but more than adequate). The site has some great touches such as a block of hot showers you can use after swimming in the sea (instead of sanding your own bath room) and bikes available for hire. If you want a bit of a change a short 10 minute walk through a wood takes you to a beach with a reef encircling it (so the water is really calm). The town of Follonica is a short drive away with plenty of places to eat. The holiday village is not too large so it feels cosy, along with personal attention but maintaining privacy.

  A peaceful place

  Unfortunately i spent just 5 days in this lovely and quiet village near the sea. The rooms are simple but very clean. The atmosphere is friendly, Alessio e Matteo are very kind always smiling and helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

  Great peaceful place

  Great place to visit with family, the beds are comfortable very clean and cosy. Host are helpful and friendly, there is a bar/restaurant with tasty food. You can hear the sea waves from the bed. Awesome place
