  Cooking Vacation

  Breathtaking location, spacious, comfortable room and fun, friendly host. We stayed for 8 days and were escorted throughout the countryside to amazing places to cook, to drink, to socialize and to learn. We were treated like royalty but conversed like best friends. We participated in a truffle hunt with Fabio and his two dogs, they found two black truffles and a white one. We learned all about truffles, we smelled them, and tasted them and now understand why they are so sought after. We cooked basic bread from scratch, made pasta and learned how to make a semifreddo which we ate for the first time and loved it. The wine was a treat and made the whole package together most memorable. Best vacation in our lives.

  Greatest place on our trip to Italy - 5 star owners, 5 star food, 5 star place

  The best place for price and value on our 6 weeks in Italy. It was a LONG day of walking and it is at the edge of town but upon arrival we were greeted warmly with "you must be Roy and Carol" A long climb to our room, but what a room; a huge suite with great art, nice vistas, sitting area, and a comfortable bed along with beer and wine in the fridge. As we hobbled downstairs for dinner we heard soft music and sat in the glow of the huge fireplace before dinner. Pasta, homemade succulent stew, salad, wine, water. Great food and vibe. Breakfast was great and a packed lunch (pannini, fruits) was included in the pilgrim package - a bargain at 108 Euro for two. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I've traveled for 40 plus years and stayed in countless places, great and modest. This is first class with first class people running it!

  Excellent Hotel

  This hotel and its staff is outstanding. They greet you by name when you arrive and every morning. They are accommodating and helpful. We stayed a week in the hotel and wish we could have stayed longer.

  Amazing inn in a lovely town with very welcoming host

  Amazing clean spacious apartment. Beautiful design. The host was very welcoming. He prepared even a breakfast the day before, because I had to leave early in the morning. He went out and beyond to make it comfortable for his guests.
