  Held a business dinner here. Absolutely amazing food and service

  Highly recommend this for a business meal. Excellent food and service. Great surroundings and fantastic view over St Peter Port. They ensured we had everything we and our guests wanted without having to ask. Very attentive and everything was just right. Well done to all of your team.

  Great Dinner

  The perfect place for a special dinner. We had reserved a table & on arrival were offered drinks in the bar while perusing the a la carte menu.The staff were welcoming & friendly & our drinks arrived very quickly. When our starters were ready we were shown to our table, which was in the window overlooking the wonderful Castle Cornet & Tree of Joy which were beautifully lit up. Our starters arrived which were excellent. After a short break we were served with our fillet steaks which were cooked to perfection & were wonderfully tender. We decided to end our meal with Crepes Suzette, which were created next to our table. Finally we chose to have coffee & liquers in the bar whilst waiting for our taxi. A great evening overall. Not a cheap night, but worth it.

  Delightful

  Unlucky to be in Guernsey the weekend of Storm Dennis but particularly lucky to be staying at La Fregate. We were in room 101, looking out across the harbour and onto Herm and Sark (and impending storm). It was very spacious, comfortable and clean, with separate shower and bath. Having had to spend more time than intended in the room because of the weather, it would have been nice to have had a few more tv channels but not a problem. Great breakfast available with the hot meal cooked to order. Although not something we required, it was apparent vegetarian and gluten free options are available. Best part of the hotel though, is the staff, i.e. everybody without exception was most helpful, patient and welcoming. It was like being in a hotel finishing school with all staff 100% committed to ensuring guests were properly looked after. Access to the city centre is via the path through the garden which, although up and down a few steps, takes little more than five minutes. Our only grievance, albeit tiny, is that the bathroom needs more lighting, particularly when using a razor! Our thanks for a great stay.

  Airbridge summer break

  We stayed at La Fregate for a week and found it to be an excellent experience. The staff were very helpful and professional, doing everything possible to make our stay an enjoyable one. Breakfast was very good and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Amazing views from our room. The room was cleaned to a high standard, also with nightly turndown. Airport transfer arranged by the hotel and we could not fault them. The hotel is very close to the town, albeit up a hill - the views alone made the trip worthwhile!

  Birthday Lunch

  We went to the Fregate for a friends Birthday Lunch. Really quite stunning to sit in the conservatory with the sun streaming in so late in the season. And, of course, the view over the town and harbour is pretty stunning as well. Food excellent as you would expect from such an established establishment and the service excellent. Many thanks, CraigA
