A gem of a hotelWe stayed here for one week. It was perfect in every way. Situated in a nature reserve the views were stunning and it had an air of tranquility. The beach is very nearby and not too busy at this time of year. Our rooms were spacious very clean and we wanted for nothing. The staff were exceptionally helpful and nothing was too much bother. We ate dinner in the restaurant, food was delicious. I would like to say a very special thank you to Luca the barman who was charming and very attentive, hes also a fine musician and we had the luck to hear him sing along with our son who couldnt resist playing the piano in the bar. It was a very special week thank you La Corte Del Sole

Wonderful location and surprising excellent restaurantWe decided to stop for a couple of days close to the Baroque valley of Noto, as well close to the Riserva di Vendicari. This old Masseria did surprised us especially for their Restaurant, the quality of the ingredients as well the nice presentation and finally a very attentive Service staff. Definitely a place to return and highly recommend. What could be improved is the access road to this nice hotel and our room Lampione was fine for two nights, but very dark, since we faced the inner court and the shutter were continuously closed. Very friendly and helpful employees at the reception. Nice pool and pool area. What we recommend is the closest beach of Marianelli vs. the overcrowded beach of Calamosche.

Favorite Hotel of our two week Sicily tour!!La Corte del Sole was a wonderful oasis during our Sicily tour. Our room was spacious and air conditioned. The shower was roomy with great pressure and temperature. We loved coming back from touring Noto and just sitting by the pool and ordering a cocktail. We ate dinner there all three nights because the food and wine was so fantastic!! Our waiters were friendly and made great suggestions about what to eat. We loved that along with the standard menu there was a daily menu that changed depending on the ingredients they acquired that day. I thought we would not like being outside of the city, but the location is great and we had wonderful meals on site. Breakfast was included and it was delicious! The price was very reasonable. If we get to Sicily again, we will definitely go back to La Corte del Sole!!

Overall very pleasantWe decided to treat ourselves to a couple of nights here whilst we were travelling around this area of Sicily. The hotel is really lovely. We had one of the more basic rooms Ortigia we found it a decent size - the only issue was the lack of outside space to dry towels and swimwear. There is a line in the bathroom but our clothes didnt dry out. Also as some other reviews mention you can hear the noise of other doors closing etc. The pool area is lovely and has a beautiful view, and the hotel is well placed to walk to some of the beaches in the Vendicari nature reserve, which was part of the reason we chose it. We thought breakfast was amazing. Freshly made coffee which you order, but gets brought to your table, everything else is self serve. The cakes tasted great and seemed to be homemade. Although we had only booked bed and breakfast we ended up eating in the hotel both nights. We were really impressed with the wine knowledge of one of the waiters who was there on both nights. He made great recommendations and we felt we benefitted from his knowledge. We really enjoyed the sardine pasta and the desserts but on the second night I had the pasta with ragu which I felt was a bit bland - obviously I am in no position to tell an Italian how to make a ragu but it seemed to be just mince and peas and paled in comparison to the sardine pasta and what we had had the previous night. Fairly small complaints but overall we had a great time.
