  My prior review was miscategorized under Restaurant. Albergo La Collina is actually a very nice hotel.

  We were greeted from the balcony of the hotel by three of my cousins who live in or near Oliveto Citra. My wife, 95-year old mother, older brother and his wife, and younger daughter and her husband and two young children all stayed here. All of us were treated very kindly. This property is one of the nicest hotels that we stayed in during our trip to Italy. The staff is very friendly. The owner's daughter even knows my cousins, who live about ten minutes away from this hotel. From the balcony facing the town, the view is very picturesque. The breakfast is very good and complete, with a wide selection of pastries, juices, dry cereal, and breakfast drinks. The parking was limited when we were there, due to ongoing construction of several improvements to the hotel. I would definitely stay at this property again (and hope to do so some time when visiting my relatives in Oliveto Citra).

  Wonderful Hotel

  We just returned from a 4 night stay at this Beautiful hotel set in the Mountains of Oliveto Citra. The hotel is new, beautiful and spotlessly clean. The room had spectacular views of the surrounding towns and mountainsides. The breakfast which was included in the price was excellent. The staff was outstanding, especially Raimondo and Marialouisa. They both work very had to make your stay enjoyable. Both were very helpful in arranging transportation to and from the hotel and considering we speak very little Italian, it was not easy for either of them. If you are on business, or like me, visiting your families in the area, this is a perfect hotel.

  Good but not impressed

  This is a beautiful hotel in and out with an outstanding cleanliness. Room is very clean and spacious with magnificent view of the mountains. Beds are comfortable. Airco does its job to keep us cool. Breakfast is ok, standard Italian breakfast with lots of sweets. What I was not impressed that the use of outdoor pool comes with a surcharge of 8 per person and this was NOT specified anywhere (even in the small letters) on the hotels.com page.

  Fantastic Location with A Great View

  A wonderful facility within a short uphill from the town plaza. We happened to be there at the end of September and were there for the Wine Festival. Very enjoyable to get a taste of local life and culture.

  Very pleasant stay-

  Perfect hotel for visiting Oliveto, more modern than one would expect considering the remote country feel. The front desk staff was courteous but not overly warm. I suggest using a translation application on your phone if you do not speak Italian. Our room was clean and comfortable and well-appointed with towels and toiletries. The AC worked well but if you do have issues speak to the front desk. At times it seemed to blow cool air but not circulate so we had to open the until and adjust the fan speed. The shower area is dark and could use an extra light over it but always had hot water and good pressure. Be sure to use the mat as water tends to get on the floor. The pool area is beautiful and mostly quiet, however note that local residence can pay a fee to swim if the hotel is not fully booked. The spa was closed for the 3 days we were there which was very disappointing. They couldve done a great business during the week with our large party of 11. Breakfast was the traditional pastries, cereal and yogurt. I unfortunately missed it each morning as we were up and out by 10:30 and Im a late riser. I did have a cappuccino though that was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel-
