"Met our needs"The rented apartment was well equipped for four people but storage/wardrobes, for example, were full on owners belongings but we managed as there were only two of us . Generally too much clutter around. The kitchen working space was inadequate. Being a ground floor apartment there was a lot of noise from neighbours especially evenings/night. Being fit, getting around was not a problem but for anyone with mobility issues a car is essential. Buses are not frequent and bus stops are not close by. The swimming pool was good and well maintained as was the whole area within the complex. Restaurants were plentiful but a good walk away. Excellent value. Shopping again needed a good walk and obviously needed to be carried back from the supermarkets.

Ex-Pats VilleWe rented a two bed apartment in La Cinuelica urbanisation. The apartment was simply furnished but was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay and the south facing private roof terrace received full sun all day. The communal pool area was well maintained and was serviced every day by the pool maintenance guys and was kept very clean. La Cinuelica is a very built up area with lots of amenities (supermarkets, eating places etc) within a 10-15 minute walk so a car is not a necessity. The beach is a good 15-20 minutes walk but we were not all that bothered about being close to the waterfront. This is very much an ex-pats area, and there are lots of pubs etc catering for the Brits (full English breakfasts etc.) Some great shopping and lovely eating places at La Zenia which is a lovely outdoor modern shopping area and if you go a little bit further out there is also a lovely plaza area at Villa Martin. La Cinuelica on the Orihuela Costa is a great location within easy access to two airports (Murcia and Alicante). Plenty local markets to visit if you like a good haggle and lots of nearby coastal areas to visit. Benidorm is about an hour and a quarter drive away and there are local buses that will take you there too. Just a word of advice if renting always check what is on your inventory of items is what you are getting as we ended up a little disappointed with some of our outdoor dining and sun longer furniture which was not as shown in the photos. Overall great stay!

Great family holiday destinationWe rented a two bed flat in this development. It was well equipped and well located for local bars, shops and beach. There is an excellent, clean, well maintained communal pool. Ample parking. Daily rubbish collection. Terrace sun trap. English tv. English speaking locals (many retired English). Safe neighbourhood. Good for children of all ages.

Disappointing. We stayed at a property on this urbanisation and to be honest we were bored senseless. Unless you want an all day breakfast or to drink all day, there is nothing to do or see. You are surrounded by buildings and cranes for as far as the eye can see. There is no scenery locally unless you want to drive out into the countryside which is fairly barren The area is full of English people so trying to practice Spanish is virtually impossible. The property needed upgrading. The 2nd bedroom was rammed full with bunk beds and a put you up bed which was so uncomfortable. The towels were old and the sun beds were mostly broken. We come home 2 days early as we had had enough. There are far nicer places to go than this housing estate for a holiday.
