What a gem! This place is a gem, located in charming Talloires and is very easy to find, with limited parking. Inside its decor is very in keeping with the area. All the staff were lovely, friendly, helpful. The rooms, whilst a little chintzy are very very clean, the bed was comfy. Theres no air con but they do give you a fan, which we needed. The food in the restaurant was exceptional for such a small establishment, and we said we would go back for the food alone! The breakfast was very well presented, good choice, served by a charming lady. Having read previous reviews I wonder if we stayed in the same place?! Anyway, it doesnt matter to us, we will be back.

Dog-eared but convenientI'm guessing that this property was nice many years ago but our room was very worn (by example, faded and stained carpet). The nice was very nice and helpful (hence the 3 stars instead of 2 stars). If you want a nice room, go somewhere else. If you want something adequate and convenient, this hotel will work.

DisappointingCharming restaurant in charming village with charming staff. Very disappointed in quality of food - 22 for mushroom risotto; 16 for over cooked and bland pasta. 5.50 for a bottle of water. May be going rate but feeling ripped off.

Great location with authentic Alpine hotelLocated in the middle of the village, a 200m downhill walk to the beach. At least 4 restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has views over the lake with terraces on the ground floor, larger terraces on the first floor and small balconies on the top floor. The best views are from the top floor, but the rooms are in the waves and a lot smaller. The breakfast was varied and a good quality. We ate in the restaurant one evening, again the food was very good with set menu at 28 euros. The staff were great, so nothing not to like

Old but clean with nice staffStayed here a few nights. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. It's just by road so it's convenient and easy to find but still quiet as most of Talloires. The reception area was quaint with a cabin feel. The room we had looked old but it was clean and the beds are nice enough. We also had a really nice view of the lake from our balcony. My only problem with the room is that since it's all wood, it can be noisy every time you move. I felt like I had to tiptoe every time I walk to make sure not to disturb the guests below is. Other than that, this can be a good hotel if you don't want to break the bank. Breakfast was traditional French.
