  Simply the best

  If you like small scale, personal treatment and top quality accommodation in Italy, this is the place to be. There is a nice swimming pool and a garden with seats and also the main terrace to sit and chill. A bit further away there is this marvellous private beach. The owner Luigi will show you personally how to get there. There are rooms and appartments with a good kitchen. We stayed in an appartment and we cooked ourselves lunches and dinners every day. Alternatively you can use the restaurant with Giovanni as a perfect host. All staff is extremely nice and gives good service all the time. In the morning we looked out to the care and talks with Magdalena during breakfast. In the end we realised we could stay here the whole summer and still be happy. Prices are also gentle compared to other parts of the south. This was not the last time we visited La Casa di Botro for sure. We will come back!

  Just perfect

  We travel a lot and have one unwritten rule: never visit the same place again, since There is so much to discover. For the Casa Di botro we made an exception. And we loved it just as much as the first time we visited. Everything is perfect about this place: the kind people, the atmosphere, the beautiful and comfortable rooms, the private beach, the great pool, the large breakfast (very rare in Italy), the tasteful diner on the terrace. We definitely will break our "rule" again and come back! Thanks Luigi and your kind staff for taking so good care of us

  What a beautiful unspoiled place , set in lovely peaceful grounds , the apartment was spotless , the staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of the restaurant food was incredible and cooked and served to perfection . I have nothing but good things to say about this romantic picture post card place . My one small niggle we came here to visit family who live in Calabria Botricello and I would have liked my granddaughter to have spent time with me by the pool I offered to pay extra but this was met with a very firm No ! but that aside this place is a gem to have found .   Superb

  The pool and private beach are perfect, and the grounds are big so you need to drive to the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the best I've had in Italy and the dinner is amazing, but bring a big appetite as we couldn't finish it all.

  Our Wedding

  Where to start after visiting Botricello last September and staying at this amazing place I knew there would be no where better to hold our wedding . I contacted the wonderful Luigi who owns and manages this beautiful unique hotel , he was so helpful and organised everything for me absolutely nothing was too much trouble, flowers ,music photographer , the most amazing menu , our rooms were beautiful the whole place is spotless its such a romantic unspoiled gem. Each evening we were served incredible food that is as good as any top restaurant Ive eaten in in-fact its probably the best. The wedding menu was incredible we were treated with such curtesy and efficiency, every detail was covered the table and garden were decorated to perfection. Our day and the entire week was perfect. Luigi is a kind ,wonderful , generous hard working man , he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We are so incredibly grateful. The whole staff are fantastic. We came here with our family , grown up children and their spouses and grandchildren we were catered for so perfectly . I fully recommend this wonderful place I whole heartedly give this unique gem and the staff and the fabulous Luigi a 5 star rating and more. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts .
